Going to go ahead with the harvest today. Flushed this week and the TDS dropped pretty well although I could probably flush more next time. It seems like both plants are in slightly different flowering stages, one has fully cloudy trichomes with a decent percentage of amber and darker hairs, whereas the other one is a mix of fully cloudy and half-cloudy trichomes. But I will harvest them both at the same time for both laziness reasons and because I'm new to this strain so I'm not sure what level would be optimal anyway. I should get way more yield than I need even if I'm not absolutely maximizing THC content.
Overall I'm very happy with this as my first ever grow. I still need to figure out the drying/curing process especially since I'm at pretty low humidity indoors this time of year, but I was not sure going into this if I would even get anything usable out of it. I did not run into many issues and even when I did see small signs of deficiency I mainly just tried to keep watering regularly and get plenty of runoff. I definitely learned some things for next time, I will probably be a lot more aggressive with defoliation during the veg stage since the end result was very bushy and I didn't want to mess with it much in flowering. I also will come up with a better germination process since I got a lot of stretch early on before I had the seedlings under a more consistent lighting setup. The pH readings I was getting the whole time seemed high to me and I don't necessarily trust the "pH perfect" stuff to get it exactly right, but on the other hand nothing really went wrong either so I might just keep the nutrients the same next time. For this strain at least it also worked fine doing no LST or anything to affect the shape, and the scrog net system worked fine for getting the canopy to fill up the tent. I'm definitely happy with the amount that just two plants produced in a relatively small tent with a relatively cheap LED light.
