So I made a risky choice, as I no longer have any lights I've been relying on windowsill daylight. This of course had made them bolt. Far too leggy and my windowsill can't cope with larger pots.
I have moved them outdoors into their final pots. It's a week earlier than I'd hoped but we have sunshine ahead, hopefully just in time.
Will feed first feed on day 12, light mix of fish mix and maxicrop seaweed ph'd to 5.8 (our water is roughly
8!)
Day 9 - very little growth as they adjust to the outdoors and recover from the transplant. Used coffee grounds laid in a ring in a bid to deter slugs and snails (I hate the slug pellets!)
She is still the smallest of my set so far, I hope she catches up!
Fingers crossed!
Day 13- slugs ate my gsc auto yesterday so I have put down slug pellets, albeit organic certified ones. On the plus the sun is out and temps are up!
Finally starting to see new growth after repotting. Weather also drastically improved. My pH was too high last week so have corrected and they are starting to respond. I definitely put them outside a week earlier than I should have.
Day 16- watered 1.5L pH 5.8, fed 1l of nutrients
Day 18 Soil run off now 6.3
Day 19- cold wet week ahead of us 😶
Day 20 - fed weak nutrients
Day 21- cold and wet, more rain
Heavy rains and cold temperatures are slowing growth but we still have a long way to go so I'm not overly concerned.
Watering is pretty much nonexistent as the rain is already too much. Although continuing the feeding once a week with the weak mix. Next week we up the dosing.
Day 27 - nice and warm and dry for the next week. Watered and then later fed 500ml of fish mix at 4ml/litre pH 6.2
She's looking good, hopefully the warm dry weather continues! Watered 1L but will leave for a few days as possible rain forecast later in the week
Going along nicely, will begin mainline in a week or two when side shoots progress
She's slow and steady but healthy and growing strong. She's so beautiful I may not mainline her after all....
Day 36- all is well!
Day 37 - after my disaster mainlining my purple orange CBD I may just stick to defoliation after all! She's too pretty. Looking good in the sunshine
Day 40 - watered and fed
I think she's just found the bottom of her pot. The growth per day is huge. Leaves are looking healthy, growth at nodes is starting to fill out too.
Day 44 - rain and storms for the next few days 😑
Day 47- topped this morning, her fans are bigger than my hands spread out! Took a clone while I was at it.
Not much to report, there's a bit of leaf twist from the extreme heat and humidity but that can't be helped. She's getting stinky already 👌👌👌
Day 51 - fed nutes and fimmed, added some light LST.
pH is a little high but I put that down to all the rain, will correct when next feeding
She's looking good. Just going to keep up the regime and watch her go! She smells amazing and is going to produce some a grade medicine for sure!
Tds seems low and no sign of burn or lockout so might up the fish mix ratio. 2 1/2 months of veg left to go 👌
Day 63- showing some trace nutrient deficiencies, I imagine it's due to lockout as well so have flushed with 10litres pH corrected water and foliar fed my usual veg mix.
Currently waiting for the soil to dry out after the flush last week so only foliar feeding . It seems to be helping, I need to put aside a few hours to give both my remo chemo and purple CBD some love. Both got lockout from salt buildup and I need to sit down and trim any dead growth, some light LST and TDS and pH the runoff.
Day 68- fed some fish mix and liquid seaweed 3ml/l and 4ml/l respectively. pH 6.2
Day 69- seems to be recovering well!
I've added some cal mag to my nutrients to boost her and she seems to be enjoying it. We'll see how she reacts over the next week. New growth appears healthy.
Day 77 - decided to do a week long flush this week as I think my soil is salted up. She seems to have responded well as growth has resumed and it all looks healthy. Need to get some nitrogen in her and my CBD as both very pale green starting next week at half strength. Thinking perhaps I've not been monitoring my ppm as much as I should have...
Flush is finished I think as TDS has reached a fairly low level (our tap water is 260ppm). I will start with a half strength feed this weekend and see how she gets on
Day 79- fed a weak nutrients mix with pH 6.3 ppm 780. Trimmed old or dying fans
Day 81- moved into the greenhouse in preparation for stormy weather in the next few weeks
Day 84- little bit of taco on the top leaves, but it's so hot and humid I don't think it can be helped
Still having problems with this lady. The leaves are a pale green and anytime I up the dose of fish mix I end up with a deficiency elsewhere from lockout. My pH is solid at 6.3 in and out and my ppms are in the right range. I flushed her in week 10/11, and reintroduced half strength nutrients but still no positive growth.
Day 88- this whole time I thought it was a nutrient issue. I opened up the taco leaves and low and behold, webs....spider mites. Neem oil enroute
Day 89- liberally applied a mix of 5ml/l emulsified neem via atomiser to all plants and removed any webs
Day 91 - 5 litres of nutrients 660ppm 6.3ph
She's starting to perk up again and the spider mites seem under control.
Day 93- Fed 5l of nutrients
Day 96- after two days of thunderstorms I return to the greenhouse. I do believe she is stepping into preflower 😎 see last picture. Yay!
Day 99- nothing to report so far this week, preflower is definitely on the go. Bloom feed will start this week with half veg/half bloom as an intro
Day 101- bit of a haircut today to open up some more light to lower leaves. Minor amount of lollipop
Day 106- Still had some spider mites so removed the affected leaves and applied more neem oil. Leaves still don't look 100% healthy so may adjust feeding regime to match the purple orange CBD as she's got a healthy dark green and looking perky
Day 109- fed veg nutrients as still not really flowering
Looking good, not much happening yet, just waiting
Day 115- flowering is officially starting. I have added a light dose of biobloom just to ease her into it
Gave her a little haircut removing some fans to allow light down to all bud sites. Also removed old or yellow fans
Started bloom feeding in full this week. Will supplement with veg nutes if I have to
Day 122- neem oil applied
All looking good and on target so far 👊
Day 128- lots of yellowing of old growth. Fed some biogrow at 4ml/l as a separate nitro boost and removed dead growth
Disaster struck last week with epic storms that destroyed my greenhouse and knocked around all my plants. It was wet as hell and now there are some moldy spots on some of the stems where they had been bent by the storm. I may have to sacrifice a few colas.
Day 138- you can see where one stem has started dying off from mildew on the stem after breaking and high humidity
Nothing to report, weather is stable and I've managed to reduce the humidity in the greenhouse. Things are looking pretty good
Damn she's thirsty for nutrients, yellowing all over the place!
But notably also some purple, odd for this strain
I missed a week due to working away but still looking good. Showing some purple colours possibly due to our low temperatures.
Smells great. Hopefully only a few weeks left, will start flushing soon.
Super intense high, was wearing a sweaty headband for the first twenty minutes of each smoke. Absolutely amazing compact rock like bugs. Great for completely forgetting what you were doing a second ago 😆
This was really easy to grow outdoors and was abig ole mama by the end of summer. She fought off mites and gnats fairly well and even dealt with the high humidity I had her in. All around easy grow for an incredible medicine
