Hey Growmies.......got another auto going from Sweet Seeds!!!! Sativa is the name of the game lately.......I do have an Indica strain germinating but mostly Sativa's this run. There is another cultivar that I am struggling with to cooperate and getting it to germinate so I am adding this exciting one to the lineup while I am also covering my bases and not wanting to do a run with just two girls👍 I don't want them 10 days apart but that is appearing to be where we are going here.......it is the lesser of the evils rather than lighting the floor of the tent because of only 2 plants😂 Would be okay with photos, just veg them longer but not autos. Sweet Seeds promotes this strain as one of their most popular and potent Sativa strains. Thanks for the opportunity Sweet Seeds........lets grow a big girl💪👊🙏 Jack 47 XL Auto - is a cross of Jack Herer and AK 47......sounds awesome......we will see if she has some motivating effects😀👍SWS78 is from the 2019 lineup of strains and has me very excited to run. 9 weeks from germination with an almost 80% sativa.....we will see😀 I have run a Green Poison XL Auto, SWS71 from 2018 line, and she was impressive!!!! Lots of bud and little leaf😍 The break down for germination: November 15/20 - 12:00pm - into plain RO water with nothing added. Tapped her and she popped back up......good start. November 15/20 - 8:00pm - tapped shell and fell to the bottom of glass. Perfect. November 16/20 - 8:00pm - no visible crack yet. Leave over night again. November 17/20 - 1:00pm - see a crack so we have moved to paper towel now👍 November 18/20 - 7:00am - she looks fine but at the same time......not much change from 18 hours ago???🧐 November 19/20 - 9:00pm - she is looking like as if you had clear film wrapping the shell, a membrane, that she can't break through but she wants to😢 nice white root still November 20/20 - 7:00pm - well no harm in keeping her on the plate for now......still no change.......she will not be viable unfortunately but will hang on for now. J472: November 18/20 - 9:00pm - into plain RO water with nothing added. November 19/20 - 7:00am - tapped her seed on the surface and she fell down. November 19/20 - 9:00pm - moved her to paper towel November 20/20 - 7:00am - root it out but give her a little longer. November 20/20 - 7:00pm - planted into coco and giver her a chance, she has been progressing fast.......Hurry up and wait now😀 November 22/20 - 8:00am - breaking the surface and working on her first set of leaves.......not sure if today will be day one or tomorrow...... ****** Okay, if this girl cracks and WCC does not then we have 3 girls and if the other does work out, then we have 4👍 I wanted a little room in the 3x3 and only run 3 girls and stretch them out but again, I would rather run 4 than only 2 plants......even if they are a week apart.......damn it😞 When you get into these germination situations it always reminds me......that is why breeders sell seeds in 5 and 10 packs!!!!!!! Mother Nature is not 100% and you should pop more than you need!! Want 4 girls then pop 6.......want 2 girls then pop 3 or 4........they don't all work out and no one guarantees 100% success......why as growers do we sometimes try and convince ourselves that we can hit 100% germination? IDK😜😝 My own fault......again, bigger things in life to sweat and so we move forward now😀 Cheers Growmies.....Keep Popping Them Seeds!!!!!!!!!

***** Week 1 November 22 to 28, 2020 - Days 1 to 7 from germination ***** Jack 47 is up and ready to go for veg cycle😀💪 Sativa dominant auto and first time running her......will be learning for me as well👍 Keep the feedings light for now and focus on allowing to build nice root mass. Microbes being added and base nutes but likely not much more other than Vitamin B and kelp/seaweed this week. Little more daily detail...... Nov 22/20, Day 1 - nothing today for watering. - could have waited for tomorrow for Day 1 but will get the countdown started today👍😃 Nov 23/20, Day 2 - 400ml RO water with Microbial Mass @ 3ml/L Nov 24/20, Day 3 - 300ml RO water with Sensi CalMag @ 1ml/L Nov 25/20, Day 4 - no top watering today.....she has been watered well the last two days. - OpticFolier Overgrown was applied minimally...........was in giving another strain a spray and said what the hell and gave a small spray to this girl as well👍 Nov 26/20, Day 5 - 400ml RO water with Piranha, Microbial Mass @ 2ml, Sensi CalMag, Velokelp @ 1.5ml - 400ppm and 5.8pH. - getting some microbes into her. Nov 27/20, Day 6 - Nothing for her today as well. Giving all the girls a dry out day. - She is a little burnt on the one tip. Not surprised.......was curious about giver her a little foliar spray this early so not surprised👍 Its all good😀 - her seed shell is still stuck to her main stem😀 She is getting a little taller now as well so I added a support to keep her growing straight. Nov 28/20, Day 7 - 400ml RO water with Sensi CalMag & Vitathrive @ 2ml/L - 450ppm and 5.7pH - more of a plain water but since RO added CalMag and added some Vitamin B to keep the stress down.

***** Week 2 November 29 to December 5, 2020 - Days 8 to 14 from germination ***** She did well through week 1 but was not on fire for growth. A good part of this is grower issue as she has been getting fed a little higher dosages of nutrient than I would normally give simply because she is right there and you have the feed for the other girls..........so, maybe just a little into her while I am at it😀😲 this I feel has probably slowed her down a bit. Keeping this in mind, its only week 1 so will back off and catch myself now before 3 weeks have gone by😂 She finally has the second set of leaves separating from the ones below and she is getting taller. She has the right nutes and the desire to grow.......medium is a little hot and wet right now is all. By December 1 she had two days back to back of dry out and looking better. With this being week 2 we will certainly continue with feeding her nutrients and another good round of microbes but keeping an eye on the ML's she is getting.👍 Nov 29/20, Day 8 - Nothing for her today no moisture other than misting plain water. - she did end up getting a little of the stronger foliar spray I mixed with Remo's VeloKelp & Magnifical but she was not sprayed directly. - she is feeling a little slow and think we have to let those roots get a little more oxygen. Nov 30/20, Day 9 - Following the same pattern today of no feeding, only plain water misting - Keep her dry and just back off a bit and let her be. - Tomorrow will add more moisture to the media. Dec 1/20, Day 10 - 400ml RO water with Sensi Grow, Velokelp, CalMag+ @ 1.5ml - 825ppm and 5.8pH - kept the feed to the basics for today. - This is a little strong possibly but she has gone two days without so going to use the same feed as the other girls......just less ml's. Dec 2/20, Day 11 - dry out day - she has lots of moisture for that small root system.......going to really let her dry for a couple of days. Dec 3/20, Day 12 - Dry out day. - The pots are wet and heavier.......give them a chance to dry out more and then give a nice a feed at 5.8pH with good run off numbers. - She is getting bigger in that her leaves are getting wider........think she has stalled slightly so backing off all water for now. Dec 4/20, Day 13 - 250ml watering with some microbes and kelp that was left from the ETS seedlings. - noticing the pots are retaining more moisture with the peat mixture as opposed to strait coco coir!! - leaving a little dryer today but going to start getting her more moisture tomorrow.........she is progressing but still slow in my mind so more water to ensure the pH is in line......balance though so you don't over water😉😦 Dec 5/20, Day 14 - getting going now.......end of week 2 and starting week 3......need to kick up the ML's she is getting. - week 2 feed numbers with Remo Nutrients........going to do/finish this auto run with his full line: - 1L feed of RO water with Magnifical and Natures Candy @ 1.5ml, Microbial Mass @ 2ml = 330ppm and 5.8pH - idea of this watering is microbes and her first bit of sweetener.

***** Week 3 December 6 to 12, 2020 - Days 15 to 21 from germination ***** This girl is growing but not setting things on fire. Side branching is coming along and her leaves are getting wider all the time. She also reaches across the pot now........so I guess she is moving along😀👍 She has been a nice color and other than one tip burnt early on she seems fine with the nutrient levels she has been given so far. Since she has been doing well with the ppm she has received so we will be increasing this week. Will be following Remo schedule for feeding as listed. I am looking at feeding the larger girls a little less than full strength and that works out to this girl getting full strength for her respective week of growth. May have to back her off a bit but give this a try. Therefore, following Week 3 feed schedule. She has had tips up everyday and looking pretty in physical appearance........👊 Little more detail........ Dec 6/20, Day 15 - no watering today. - reduced the humidity in the tent a bit today and they reacted well to it.....57% - Overgrow spray today as her new leaves are lightening up and she has not had many base nutes last waterings. Dec 7/20, Day 16 - 2L feeding with Micro, Grow, N Candy, Magnifical, VeloKelp @ 1.5ml each = 800ppm and 5.8pH - the pot still has a little weight but with work life I have to feed her this evening otherwise it will be too long before I can feed her again. - Might be a little strong but will go with it. Dec 8/20, Day 17 - dry out day. - she has reacted well to the feeding yesterday and looks happy Dec 9/20, Day 18 - 1L water with 0.5ml of Magnifical = 85ppm and 5.8pH - is intended as a plain water feed. Since RO water adding a bit of CalMag to it. - she is looking very good and has a nice color. Dec 10/20, Day 19 - pot is pretty heavy still so going to let her go without watering. - her leaf colour is very nice and she looks great overall. Dec 11/20, Day 20 - 2L feeding with Micro, Grow, N Candy, Magnifical, VeloKelp @ 1.5ml each = 800ppm and 5.8pH - will keep the same feed for now for this girl. Colour is good and she has tips up and continues to get a little bigger every day😁 - might be a little light stress on her with the rough leaves but she is handling it. - runoff numbers from the pot after feeding were: - 800 and 5.8 going in and 720 and 6.3........I will take it......pH is a little high, will correct with next watering. Peat is achieving its goal and seems to be helping to buffer the coco and keep it drifting into high 7’s as I have been battling last couple of runs😁👍 - LST today.......bent her over tonight😁👍 - Would love for her to have been a little taller though so didn't get to crazy getting bent right over......will keep tying her down over next two days Dec 12/20, Day 21 - Dry out day as she was just given a lot of moisture yesterday. - other than tie her back down in the morning.....left her alone today and she pulled back up again by end of day......tie her down again tomorrow😀 Doing well Sweet Seeds......I think I lost a day or two but she is on course again. Reacting well to LST and showing more vigour😀👍

***** Week 4 December 13 to 19, 2020 - Days 22 to 28 from germination ***** We are moving into week 4 now and she is being trained to allow the lower branching to come up and form more of a bush. She has been eating well but I do feel she is right close to her max before issues begin so will keep that in check. Will bump up the feed by roughly one ml/L for the other girls but may hold off for this girl. She is a little wet at the start of the week but I expect this to be a good growth week. Desire is to see her getting taller and her side branching to catch up to the main stem. She has the fight in her......just need to let the light down to the bottom and give her some time.......patience👍👊 yeah......like I have lots of that😂😂😂 Since I am starting diaries at the start of the week and completing as the week goes on I don’t really have a summary on the week😂 Little more detail........ Dec 13/20, Day 22 - dry out day for this girl. - The other autos were watered but this girls was not. Her pot was still pretty have from yesterday. - I had to take two larger leaves from her today to help with training. Don’t like doing that when she has so few but I just cant tie her down enough with them there so they are gone😵 - Her node spacing is tight and making it a little hard. - let her dry out......her pH was higher than the others and she is still wet today. - The others were given Microbes today so she is ready tomorrow as well. Dec 14/20, Day 23 - going for another dry day. - her pot is still has more weight than I would like. - Going to let her dry out even more this time between........feed tomorrow likely. Dec 15/20, Day 24 - Decided to feed. - 2L feed with Micro, Bloom, Magnifical, Velokelp, Natures Candy @ 1.5ml = 800ppm and 5.8pH - Moved the tie out further another node on her main stem. - Need to get those top leaves out of the way to let more light at the lower side branches so they start shooting up to the top of the canopy! She has been growing a beautiful shape and now I went and messed her all up😀 She will get going but I am a little concerned so will be backing off the moisture for a couple of days and lower her pH slightly..... Dec 16/20, Day 25 - dry out day to let the pots get really light. - want to make sure the pH stays in line so drying out a little more today. Dec 17/20. Day 26 - dry out day again. - she is looking fine but I really want to her finish everything in the pot and we give her a nice flower feed. - she is not reacting as well to the training and has almost been slowed down. - side branches a little frail and not growing nice and symmetrical. Dec 18/20, Day 27 - dry out day yet again, last one. - bringing down the moisture in all of the pots. - she is fighting things so I want to reduce the light intensity and reduce the moisture levels so I can verify where the pH is at and possibly adjust. Dec 19/20, Day 28 - time for some feed. Pot was light today. Comfortable giving her a heavier feed now. Want the pot light so I can ensure the pH stays in line rather than drift because too much moisture. - 2L feed with AN Rhinoskin, Micro, Bloom, Magnifical, AstroFlower, VeloKelp, Natures Candy @ 2ml = 900ppm and 5.8pH. - She received her first PK boost today with AstroFlower. - She also received her first dose of Silica today. - Some lines say to use Silica in Veg but I have always waited until they flip because I am typically bending branches through veg. If I start making them firm too early, they are tough to LST😀👊 - She has some small side branches right now. She is certainly not at 100% of where she should be. - She has suffered through Veg and will not reach her full potential.......over water????......she didn't show negative signs......pH was part of issue?......little hot possibly with early watering???? - tough to narrow down fully right now😟 Have a great week Growmies and hope your terps are plentiful 😂🙏

***** Week 5 December 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 29 to 35 from germination ***** Going into the first full week of flower/transition. She was definitely going through the start of transition last week but I left it as a veg week and will call this the first flower week. She is not 100% and will not be but she has all of the signs of being a nice girl. She grew hard to start and she can take the nutrients levels, leaf colour is very good and she has grown evenly, nothing odd with growth. You just can't make up veg time with autos as they don't stop😞 For the first four weeks I end up staying so focused on making sure the autos are happy everyday and for the full day if at all possible..........as opposed to the first four weeks of a photo and I am a lot more relaxed and feel there is time to correct anything......its all good😂😂 This girl has obviously not been happy about everything in life over the first four weeks. She was put on a riser this week to help get her closer to the light. I still don't know exactly what I have done but suspect it was a combination of things in veg to slow her down. I feel she likely wants a quite dry media so the roots can breath more........I was not "soaking" the coco with the volumes of moisture but it was wet. Possibly could have cut watering volumes in half to see. Been battling pH drift though so I have it in my thick skull to give a good runoff amount........which can lead to a "soaked" media and that my have been part of it??? I also took four large fan leaves up higher on her, early on right after the first LST and think that pissed her off as well........I knew when I did it and thought I would "roll the dice" and take them but maybe should have left them.......cant go back but at least aware of it😀 Pulled her out this week and looked closer at her to see the bottom better. Her branches are soft so silica is increasing now that we are in flower. Colour was good below and not spotting or deformities. When tying down the branches, she pulled her self right up around the ties again easily enough by the next day. At this point I just want to get all the extra leaves out of there and let the air flow so I removed a number of fan leaves on her lower half, not too crazy but enough that she felt it I am sure.......she is already stunted so screw it and help give her a chance to get more light and grow taller was my thought😁👊 Little more detail..... Dec 20/20, Day 29 - Dry out day after heavier feed yesterday. Dec 21/20, Day 30 - need to add some moisture - 1.5L watering with Magnificat @ 2ml = 200ppm and 5.7pH - more of a watering today with some CalMag added because RO water being used. Dec 22/20, Day 31 - dry out day today. - going to let her go and feed in the morning tomorrow. Dec 23/20, Day 32 - Feeding day today. Continuing with first weeks flower feed of 2ml/L. - 2L feed with Micro, Bloom, Magnifical, AstroFlower, VeloKelp, Natures Candy @ 2ml = 800ppm and 5.8pH. Dec 24/20, Day 33 - dry out day again. Still fair bit of weight in the pot compared to the other autos. - pull out tomorrow and clean up lower growth and check runoff numbers. Dec 25/20, Day 34 - 2L full feed again with the same 2ml/L feed as earlier in the week for all the autos. Added AN Rhinoskin as well for silica. - 1150ppm and 5.9pH going in.........pots were really dry and perfect pretty well. - Runoff was 1075ppm and 6.0pH.........I can live with that at week 2 flower😁😁 Dec 26/20, Day 35 - 1L full feed again. Had mixed up 12L yesterday. - Added 2ml/L of Microbial Mass and Piranha = 1200ppm and 5.9pH. - She needed her microbe allotment as we are at the start of flower. - Bacteria added to help keep some of the nutrients in the media as she finishes. - next watering is more of plain water and add Terpinator. Nice girl Sweet Seeds.......I have messed her up but learning from her.......we will get one to smile about😬😬

***** Week 6 December 27/20 to Jan 2/21 - Days 36 to 42 from germination ***** Week 6 is hear already, it feels like........or maybe I just wish it was start of week 4 still😂......she is looking like she has all the makings of coming through her early flower and going hard now and growing harder👍👍 All we can do is be patient and give them the time they want. This girls top nodes are pulling up harder at the start of the week and getting lighter in colour at new growth sites. Given what she has done the last two days she appears as though the next week will be a good week for growth. She is getting Terpinator at the start of the week but I would probably have normally waited another week for her had all the girls been on the same day. To try and balance the feed I gave them CalMag with Terpinator to even out the NPK a bit more, plus the microbes or other supplementals. Bumping up the ml of moisture the pot is getting this week..........noticed the last two watering's that even though the pot feels like there is some weight to it, when she is watered she takes 2L or more to get runoff. Won’t start changing it too much as she is starting to look healthier. Just is getting bigger so will naturally start consuming more in the same period. Rather than increasing the amount of liquid😜 😜 😜 Pulled her out early week and her leaf colour is good......she is not lacking anything based on leaf colour so will also keep up the plain watering's cycle as is. Little more detail..... Dec 27/20, Day 36 - pots are light again in the afternoon. - 2L watering with Magnifical and Microbes @ 2ml. Terpinator @ 3ml = 400ppm and 5.8pH - She is feeding well and again, after 5 min still no run off from 1.5L so graver her 2L. - she is looking really good in the afternoon and her tops are really pushing hard.......hairs popping everywhere 👍 Dec 28/20, Day 37 - Top of the girl looks really good in the morning. She had a good night of growth and the lower side branches have gotten longer and getting closer to the top. - she is coming out of the "ball" phase and moving into the "flat top" phase before we see our "bush" forming😂😂😂 - 2L watering today with full line of Remo, all 6 parts plus silica again @ 2ml = 1150ppm and 5.9pH - This is a little stronger feed than I would first chose for this girl as her leaf colour is a nice green already and new growth showing some small signs of tip burn. Should have probably portioned off part of the feed for her and added some more water to reduce ppm.......ran with it though😳 Dec 29/20, Day 38 - another feeding in the morning today. Pot was really light. - 2L in the morning giving with same feed of 1150ppm and 5.9pH. - the other autos were fed again in the evening but not this girl.......she is feeding well but her pot was still heavy in the evening. - she is really looking good!!! She is shooting hairs like crazy and tip are up on the leaves. - would love to strip the fan leaves blocking bud sites but I am resisting temptation.......she is too small.......take them when she has grown a little healthier and larger 😀 Dec 30/20, Day 39 - she is still looking like she is trying hard to grow bigger and pushing her tops higher😀 - leaf colour is very good and noticing that even though she is being pushed with ppm that she is not showing tip burn like the other girls in the tent😕 - 11:00am she had 2L watering with Magnifical @ 1ml, Enzymes Komplete and Microbial Mass @ 2ml = 175ppm and 5.7pH - since she is looking good for colour, I will follow along with the other girls and give her a couple of lighter water feedings and help flush out some of the salts from her root zone. Good hit with Enzymes today to help with just that. Dec 31/20, Day 40 - pots are really light this morning. - 2.5L feeding with Terpinator @ 3ml, MagNifiCal and Rezin and Microbial Mass @ 2ml Natures Candy @ 1ml = 600ppm and 5.9pH - pulled her out and trimmed off a fair bit of lower branching. Did it now before she gets too far into flower. - she has a lot of lower leaves.......she is super bushy still so I felt is was time to take the lower 1/3 from her.........Sorry, Apolo couldn't help it.....so many leaves blocking light😂 - It was actually fairly aggressive stripping so will keep an eye on her and see how she reacts......should have added some kelp and vitamin B to the feed but didn't😶 Jan 1/21, Day 41 - watering in the morning. - 2L watering with CalMag, VeloKelp and Vitathrive @ 1.5ml = 400ppm and 6.0pH (Had to add Terpinator for 1ml/L to bring down the pH......missed it so added something, too much pH up was added.) - they have been given a lot of ppm this week so backing off a bit and just giving some basics as using RO water. - she is not as happy this morning. I am trusting that she is just sleeping this morning.......switched to a 24 hour cycle 3 days ago and trying it out to see how the girls react.......been very good until today.....keep an eye on her. She may need to be lowered from the box she is on as the other autos need the intensity still. Jan 2/21, Day 42 - pots are dry and time for moisture again. - plain water only!!!!! She is showing signs of some excess from pushing them harder this week. - backing off and let her use some of the nutes she already has in her. - 2.5L water with Enzymes @ 1ml = 15ppm and 5.7pH - droopy in the morning........see how they look in a couple of hours. - closed the door to the room last night and temps in the tent were 87 degrees this morning.......they will bounce back but it definitely impacted them last night. - J47 was really impacted and appears to be a sleep with the leaves looking the same as at night.
