2nd top Dec 25 to 1st node. could have sped up without waiting for 3rd node formation and cut right at 2nd to 1st. also need to boost nutes to recommended level. transplant to 5 gal and heavy water/no nutes. roots semi visible when taken out of 1g pot, could have waited longer but the roots that were visible also broke off somewhat. leaving for a few days. Dec 29 - 3rd top. increased nutes to 1ml/1.5l and cal mag .5

still feel like I'm weeks behind but she's really grown tall and stalk is getting pretty thick this week. still nervous about herm but probably nothing. Jan 16 1st big defoliation and train middle stalks to outside. cut off 1st bud sites x 4 middle stalks. left the other 4 for a couple days to bounce back. built scrog Jan 15 for flower time Jan 18 removed bottom growth from the other 4 stalks. Jan 19 very slight yellow tips. added humidifier but using caution. 34% currently, trying to raise to 40%

filling out and slightly taller. thinking I need to increase watering. slight nute burn on tips although I'm under feeding, so backing off. light now to 100% @ 18" wondering how to water once it hits the screen...I see problems arising Jan 27 - started drooping. over/under water? temp too hot @28C? ph 6.4/6.6ish. leaves not as green, slightly discolored. stopping humidifier and is @ 35%. another big soak tonight, only .5ml fert, check in morning Jan 28 - removed bottom sites/leaves

ugh she's gonna hate me. abuse. transplanted to 7g which was probably a mistake. leaves pale, still slight yellow on tips and some dark patches. wind burn? hungry? water? pH is 6.4ish if she doesn't herm id be very surprised but perhaps she likes the harrassment... I need a plan so monitor watering and get some colour back. increase nutes, I thought it was too much before but I think she's actually hungry. flip next week? Feb 1 - increased fert 1ml and 2.5l water. dark areas on leaves more noticeable, dimmed light 80% and turned fans away. so many factors and not enough experience haha.

looking better, way more water, raised nutes, less wind and lowered led to 80% 20" this last week. wiped down inside of tent today, tightened driver connections and taped pinholes. 84 days veg so flipping soon. * new jug @ 6.6ph higher Feb 11 Thurs - 24+ hours dark starting tonight. maybe I should have taken some lowers off but I'll do that in week 2 now. untied for flip and big water with fert

Feb 13 - yesterday was 24 hours of darkness so today is flip! 10am - 10pm. staying on veg fert until I see signs of flower and keeping this week marked as veg too. raised scrog to meet with stretch so it's not too low. she's bushy now, how much more with stretch?! plz no balls.... Feb 19 - hmmm ok, well I thought the mains were supposed be tucked into the squares as they grew taller but that was extremely difficult to do. now I understand what @MaryJaneUSA was trying to tell me! drop the scrog and have her grow into it while positioning new growth. a week late but now I see the light!

Feb 20 - bouncing back from yesterday's scrog correction (lowered screen and flattened her out). a week late so hopefully it won't cause any problems. switching diary to flower as I can see a few pistils forming. still watching for balls.... although nothing serious/detrimental, my mistakes during 13 weeks of veg: -transplanted too early from seedling -not enough water/nutes throughout 3/4 veg -waited to long for 1st top (not a mistake but added time/weeks) -mistook yellow tips for nute burn when it was probably the opposite (and underwatering) -raised led intensity too high weeks 7 - 10 -scrog, plant grows into screen! lower, flatten and spread her out thanks again to @MaryJaneUSA

filling in.... upped nutes and will start to increase bloom ferts this week. increase led slightly +80% still know I messed up by installing scrog too late, hoping this week she'll show signs of improvement. - defoliation 21 days = Mar 13 Sat - should I remove all lower bud sites? or has she already been through enough? Mar 3 - noticing leaves are a lighter shade of green. also there's quite a bit of larf growth on lowers. watering 3 litres daily but every morning it's bone dry. maybe it's not enough? Mar 4 - removed a handful of leaves blocking light. couple lower yellows found.

Mar 6 - leaves lighter shade. I thought pH was high or underwater but I talked to local hydro store today and he says to double up cal mag a few feedings so that's the plan. he says it's not pH from photos. that's good news. (9pm 2 litres / 1.7 ml Cal mag) also new 5 gallon water jug at 6.4 (lower than last) pistols increasing nicely. smells very fruity which is way different from the first grow where it was very gassy. dropping floranova grow and only using floranova bloom from here on in after cal mag feeding. slowly removing handful of leaves here and there. next Sat week 4 for big defoliation 21 days Mar 8 - 1.5 l water/1.4ml cal mag only. today is day 16F Mar 10 - leaves dark, burn? regardless using only bloom now. 1.4 bloom/2 litres water today.

Mar 13 - day 21 flower. 1st big defoliation. removed a lot, hopefully not too much. left the lower larf but I really want to take it off. too much stress? Can really see my mistake of too much cal mag last week in the purple dark leaves when viewing pics. just too much added. hopefully the new growth will be better. still worried about turning male/bananas... paranoia mar 17 - water approx 2l-3l daily @ 2ml bloom. not much change except pistols are browning which I believe is stress induced. purchased another clip fan for upper circulation.

Mar 20 - day 28 F (126 days) starting to fatten up, pistols browning. not much upkeep, just daily water/nutes. new jug @ 6.4/6.6 ph Mar 21 - went ahead and added 1/2 tbls molasses to 3l water today. Mar 24 - day 32 F. Barneys says harvest 49 - 55 days so maybe I should start thinking about 2 week flush soon? seems early. Continuing to add a bit of molasses to bloom nutes and will add a sample of Fearless Gardener "Rock Hard" 0-0-62 next week. Added a 4th clip fan just because and upper led to 90%.

Mar 27 Day 35F - got a microscope yesterday and it's so much easier to see what's happening. what a difference from just enlarging phone pictures. looks like I still have plenty of time to fatten her up - new jug 6.4ish ph added Fearless Gardener "Rock Hard" to water today, will repeat next Saturday April 1 - day 40 so: 1 week 47F - lower nute (flush?) 2 weeks 54F - flush 3 weeks 61F - ? 4 weeks 68F - ?

April 3/day 42F - Happy Easter! easing off nutes, trics seem to be coming along, in the "window" for sure. I may start 2 week flush in a couple days but next week for sure. hard to tell for myself if they are cloudy or its the reflection on clears. I think it's mainly reflection and I have a few weeks yet. no amber as far as I can see. I am hoping I have time still even tho I'm pushing into 20+ weeks but I'm in no rush.

April 10 day 49F - according to Barney, harvest window is day 49 - 55. I've been alternating nute and fresh water only. I was going to do the week flush but after reading mixed reviews I may skip flushing and just keep alternating feeds. smell is fairly weak, it hasn't gotten any stronger since flip although when I accidentally brush my hand on a bud I can smell it a bit more. she's super sticky tho. trics still seem fairly clear, no sign of amber except on a couple which I think I accidentally touched being at the front. all in all she's ready, trying for another 2 weeks. April 12 - I've done 2 days fresh water and molasses. maybe I'll just keep it at that...

April 17 day 56 F - anytime now but still no ambers. I've been watering with 1/2 tbls molasses and added 1 ml bloom nute a couple days ago too. I'm still watering 3 litres daily and its bone dry by morning. I'm concerned that when I cut and dry her it's going to be way too fast with 40% tent humidity. I bought a humidity controller and will try to see if I can raise for drying only. the leaves have been very dark green and quite brittle the past few weeks. I think that the soil still had quite a bit of worm castings and released N during flower. this is a total guess! maybe it's led burn without actually causing damage? also I think the fans were too direct although weak flow so i moved 2 underneath cannopy and indirectly on top. she's looking healthy but there's a significant color difference for sure. so now just watering and waiting for ambers... April 19 - so on Barney's site itself it says 55 - 60 flowering days not 49 - 55 like I read elsewhere. she's day 58 today so right on schedule (flowering wise at least). April 22 - day 61 F : trics look cloudier but no amber. I noticed a wet dog or stale smell yesterday. I don't see any signs of mould. I may have overwatered trying to flush (which I wasn't going to do but got ancy). humidity was 60 this morning which it has never been before. maybe the smell is a wet fabric pot all night. I skipped watering today, I'm concerned and want to cut her down. tomorrow? ugh no amber....

April 42 day 63F - still no amber really forming and shes going on too long. 23 weeks/63F, she's starting to look old although trics looking good. I'll give her another couple days but that's it i think. possible flower mistakes: -should have removed more lower sites. I was scared of stress but I think she could have handled it (but that's hindsight) -turned up led too high, 90/95% -adding worm castings a week before flip. I think it led to N toxicity into flower -over nutrient, although I only fed 2ml - 4ml/3 litres I think I could have cut back feedings. I fed 2 twice and skipped one. maybe better to feed once and skip next 2. -i might have fed molasses too early, maybe leave until last few weeks? -fans too direct causing minor wind burn even tho flow was weak -final flush was too much water and caused wet dog smell possibly from the wet air pot overnight. concerning for mould especially at the end of flowering into harvest I might be overthinking all of it, afterall she never herm'd on me and I really thought she would after all the poking, cutting and bending. what a champ! also I've seen other photos where the leaves are very similar dark Olive Green like mine. so maybe that's her color into flower and not any N toxicity (although those other plants could have similar issues, so idk). couple more days, getting the scissors ready... Apr 26 - I'm too indecisive. was going to harvest but I still don't see many if any amber. I'll give her 2 more days and cut Thurs. Removed strings off scrog, she measures 20", I see no mould or anything concerning now that I can rotate the pot and see her backside.

Apr 29 - although she barely had any amber I figured day 68F/week 23 was long enough. I cut individual branches and did a wash with lemon juice/baking soda. there didn't see to be much debris floating around but I think it did improve the overall look of the bud, more shiny. it definitely made them more sticky. whether it improves the flavor/quality idk but I think ill be washing from now on. I flushed for approx. 1.5 weeks even though I said I wasn't going to. I didn't do the 24 hour darkness. I'm concerned that my humidity in the tent is too low and will drying will be too quick. Ill monitor closely. I do have a humidifier if needed but I'd rather not unless absolutely necessary. 1425g wet weight but that includes big ass branches. I'll update proper weight after drying/cure. looking back, she grew amazingly. with all the toppings I did, the bending, the late scrog AND defoliation, she pulled through. no signs of any herm thankfully. 23 weeks could have been cut significantly by less toppings, or maybe not waiting for 4th node toppings. it's only my 2nd grow and I really wanted to mainline 16 colas so she's a big success in my book regardless of how long she took. I also added a few weeks by making the scrog mistake, doh. BIG thanks to everyone watching, likes and comments! may 1 - I turned off my exhaust fan for an hour and to my surprise the humidity measures 71%. I never realized it had such an impact. I turned it back in as it's been consistently 51% 21C the last couple days for drying. may 4/5 - very dry so it's all trimmed and curing. took only 4 days to completely dry at 20C 54%. not sure how to extend the drying process. 13 x 500ml jars total, 3 of them are flower trimmings. May 8 - humidity in jars seems to be at 56 - 58%. looks overdried and I'm not sure burping is doing anything at this point. even still the bud looks great, I haven't sampled yet or weighed the final dried buds. may 22 - curing finished. these buds are fire. super clean high, no anxiety and not much couch lock. the buds are a little dry but bodeva keeps at 62%. main colas all weighed at 3g x 16. I didn't weigh the rest but I'm guessing 6 - 7oz total. summary would be "super dense resin nuggets!"
