Runtz and ZkittleZ - First Grow

Hi there, Welcome to Week 6 (sorry I've missed previous weeks, I've only just discovered Grow Diaries)!! This week I continued to LST my plants down, and I also fitted the SCROG. The plants have really taken off this week, and they are fitting nicely into the SCROG. My SCROG net has quite large sections, and I'm not the biggest fan of this, but I'm going to go with it this time, as I'm kind of experimenting with the SCROG net in whole. I defoliated the underneath of the canopy quite heavily to allow for greater airflow. Looking forward to Flipping to 12/12 in a couple of days I think. Thanks for reading!!😁

Hey Guys, welcome back! Not a huge amount to report so far this week. Flipped to 12/12 on Weds ( currently Sunday). There’s been some great vertical growth as they stretch in to flower and everything appear to be super healthy. They are smashing through the Nutes, and this week I added Bud Candy as directed. I decided to order a new light this week as the footprint of the TS1000 isn’t big really big enough for the SCROG I’ve set up and the plant structure I’ve built, so I’m upping my game to the Spider Farmer SF2000 when it arrives. This should completely fill my 4x2 for Flower compared to the Mars Hydro. I’ll keep the week updated as it progresses! Thanks for reading! 🙌🏼

Unfortunately I had to go away for a couple days, so the babies didn’t get nutes for a few days - they did get watered though. Have added BIG BUD in to the mix now; so the plants should be getting that extra PK they are craving. Other than that, the stretch continues and we’ve seen about 8-12 cms growth in places. Welcome back guys. Just moving in to Week 9 now - 3rd Week of flower. Buds are starting to develop and looking real nice! The plants are developing trichomes rapidly, and the bud sites themselves are popping out more and more pistils everyday - exciting stuff! Other than that, think I need to invest in a bigger dehumidifier, as I’m finding it super hard to keep it below 60% RH and that’s not going to be good when the buds start packing on size... Plants are drinking like maniacs and are taking a nute feed pretty much every other day, if not daily, with no sign of nute burn - so I’ll keep going with the same schedule! Thanks for reading. 🙌🏼 Update of week 9 - buds are popping hard now, and the pistil production is insane! Zkittlez seems to be producing some more trichs at the moment than the runtz, and they’re starting to smell delightful!

Welcome back 🙌🏼 Update - Week 4 - just through week 4 and things are looking great. The runtz is finally starting to pack on some size, and both plants are beginning to get some girth to them too! Moving into week 4 now - I’ve just got a new light that’s pretty much double the intensity, and the light coverage reaches the sides of the whole tent now from 12/14 inches away from the tops - so hopefully we shall see the buds start popping. Switched out voodoo juice for B52 now. Photos don’t show the best pics of the trichs forming, but they’re starting to pop off. The zkitttlez seems to still be slightly ahead of the runtz in development and it’s starting to produce a lovely scent on the nose. Other than that, business as usual! 😎 Thanks for reading! 🤟🏻

Welcome back guys! Through week 5 now and the buds are fattening up nicely! 🙌🏼 Zkittlez is looking super frosty and the buds are really starting to pack on size now. Soon I’ll introduce Overdrive in to the nutrients to fatten the buds for a couple weeks before switching to a two week flush. Other than that, business as usual! Thanks for reading ⭐️ Cheers!

Wasssup Guys! Through week 6 of Flowering now, bit behind on the update, so I do apologise! Flowers are looking sweet as, really putting on some weight. Got another week of nutes before im going to start a two week flush I think. I’ve switched out Big Bud for Overdrive and am will use this for weeks 6 & 7 prior to the flush 🙌🏼 Thanks for checking it out!

Yoooo! Welcome back 🙌🏼 Just a quick update for week 7 of flower. Plants looking incredible. Zkittlez is really packing on the frost now and starting to develop some lovely colours. The Runtz seems to be continually packing on size and developing - most of the trichs are still clear but I’m seeing cloudy and a few amber ones here and there, so I’m looking to get the flush going in a few days time. What’s up guys!! Welcome back. Week 8 just commencing - fully flushed the plants today which took forever - getting the build up of advanced nutes salts took ages, but finally got the EC of the runoff down to the same level as the water going in to the plant. Should start seeing some mad colours coming through now, but the plants are looking super dank - especially the Zkittlez! Going for a two week flush now as the trichs seem to be ready - the runtz may need a few more days than the zkitz - but it looked to be suffering a bit from some nute lockout so I’ve gone for the flush now. Hopefully I’ll see some good signs in the next couple of days! Thanks for checking in 🙌🏼

Wasssssup guys! Welcome back. Week 9 is on and the plants look insane. The flush has seemed to boost the trich production and the zkitz should be ready for harvest in a few days! Got mainly cloudy trichs, just gonna give it a few more days to finish the ninth week and then chop chop chop.. The Runtz is packing on size again now, so Gonna leave it another week or two depending on the trichs. Exciting times!! Yooooo what is up guys! Welcome back - in to week ten and the zkittlez has been harvested. Cloudy trichs all over and about 10/15% amber so went with a chop today. Wet weight of 628g for the plant roughly. Including a bit of stalk weight, which I’m chuffed with. 🙌🏼 She’s on to dry now, so stay posted for post dry weights. I’ve taken off the majority of fan leaves but left all the sugar leaves for a dry trim and to help slow the drying process. The Runtz still has a few days or weeks left in her. Just waiting for those pistils to stop sprouting and some further clouding up of the trichs and then chop chopppp! Thanks for stopping by 🤟🏻

Thanks for checking in Guys! Absolutely loved growing and admiring this Zkittlez plant for the past 4 months. She’s a beauty. Grows super well, and was happy to be topped and trained with LST and defoliated quite heavily. She loved a feed, and show no signs of nute lockout or any deficiencies. My only one downsize is that the nugs produced, especially the lowers aren’t super dense and you lose a lot of wet weight. Other than that an incredible plant to grow and super super tasty on the smoke 🙌🏼❤️

The Runtz has been an incredible strain to grow and she looks fantastic after the trim. I’ll update everything after she’s dried and I get to taste her briefly before the cure! 🙌🏼 Edit - Runtz is tasting incredible after a week dry. Now it’s in to the jars for curing! Thanks fir checking in.
