S.A.D. Fast Couple

This is something I've been waiting for long - I've smoked this strain once but I didn't know at that time what was it. Later on I was told it was S.A.D. It really has a special taste and I wanted to try it on my own. Here it is, S.A.D fast version, Huge thank to Sweet Seeds for sending me all free seeds. I'm more than happy to share my experience with you guys and hope you'll enjoy the trip. Last run was not the best one, I had huge issues with thrips, the COCO medium was used twice before and I should have replaced before. As it turned our all the roots were covered with small eggs which is probably the reason why spraying the plants was totally useless 😀 This time, I cleaned the tent and disinfected it well and filled the pots with fresh coco medium 😀 All six seeds sprouted and the seedlings are in a great shape, super healthy and rowing nicely. I've been adding nothing more than rhizotonic and tapped water leveled to pH 5.8. Nothing else to report right now. 💪 Have a great week and wish you all great growing.

Hello everybody😉 This week was outstanding, 5 out of 6 plants are super fast growers. I've never had such plants just after two weeks, they just started developing 3rd node which is amazing. I'm still giving the girls tap water at a pH 5.8 with addition of rhizotonic for root growth promotion. I wish the humidity in the tent was higher but it's not a tragic 😊 Other than that everything seems to be perfect. Thank you for stopping by and wish you healthy growing. Be safe👍

Hi guzy, here we are with a weekly update again. This time nothing special to report. Overall I'm super happy with the development. All plants except from the one are super happy and growing quickly as crazy 😊 I cannot believe how huge the fan leaves already are which is a clear sign of overall health.😎 I've decided to start adding basic COCO A&B nutrients but I had to stop after first watering as the leaves started showing slight overfeeding. nothing to worry about😜 Super happy so far, all four plants already show off their indica genetics.. Hi guyz, I'm coming back with a quick weekly report. Plants are growing as crazy and they're getting really bushy but It's not time for flowering yet. I've got big 16 liters pots and I want them to get big😀 Overall health is outstanding and they love the high humidity in the room. Hopefully I will manage to leave tit low once I switch them to flower. The stems are really sturdy and all are being trained nicely to get even bush. Leave your comments and wish you a happy growing. Hi everybody😀 First of all I wanted to wish you the best in New Year and hopefully the situation gets better for everyone of us. Previous week I decided to switch the lights schedule to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness which is giving the signal to the plants it's time to start flowering. After 6 day almost all of them are showing slight signs of preflowers which is great. Even though flowers haven't started forming, the smell is already forming. Can't wait for the flowering days 😛 S.A.D. plants are super happy and stretched for 12 centimetres which is what I was expecting. This time I'm doing only LST and nothing else. Just making sure the canopy is super even😊 I will start defoliating and lollipopping in two weeks. Until then I want to leave them as they are👌 Nothing else to report here, I simply love all 6 plants. Hi guzy, A great week is behind for my ladies. It's been 2nd week of flowering and buds are slowly starting to develop. Plants have been stretching like nuts and they're becoming proper trees😀 The smell from the tent is really mild but fortunately the following week will be about buds formation. Conditions in the tent are almost ideal, also I was able to lower the humidity thanks to the cold and sunny weather we've been having past few days. I'm super happy how they reacted to LST and how evenly I was able to spread every canopy. Last few days I haven't been touching the plants but I will start with a major defoliation and lolipoping next week after they start producing buds. Other than that nothing else to report. This week was all about stretching and hopefully the plants decided it's time to put all they energy in flowers😀Some of the plants reached almost 90 cm and I put additional pots above the growing pots to level all the canopies to be evenly spread in the tent. I flushed the plants today with a higher dosage of basic A&B nutrients which I hope will give ladies a fuel to start pumping💪 Flowers are small but the development has been impressive in last two days and the difference in strains is now really visible. Yesterday I also performed quite an aggressive defoliation and got rid of all lower branches which usually produce small buds which I really don't want them😜 Now all the LEDs are going on a full throttle but I'm already looking for an upgrade which would consist of new MIGRO ARAY 4 model with an addition of MIGRO 200+ I already own. Also the smell is evolving beautiful but the buds are too young to get a feel of the final result. the major work is now over, I don't have much else to do other than giving the the right nutrients and hopefully they will give me a yield I'm expecting. Hi guyz, it's been an amazing week, girls have slowly stop developing and the buds started maturing. They're not huge at this stage but there's plenty of time until harvest day 😀 The tent is so crowded that I've become quite aggressive with defoliation but I'm taking care not to damage my girls 😍 Also the smell is getting intense day by day. I have a very exciting news. Friday afternoon I order a brand new model of MIGRO Aray 2 LED PRO series and my expectation ara above limits 😀 They consume 120 W and have an astonishing efficiency of (PPFD/Watt) of 2,37 with 339 µmols/sec... WOW😍 Cannot wait to get her and mount it in the tent! Nothing else to report at this stage. Last but not least, have a great week and wish you all a wonderful week.💪

Hi guyz, it's been a lovely week and everything is now focused on bud production :) Really happy about the development and the smell of the plants so far. The girls are becoming real monsters and I can't wait to get a new LED to replace it with the old Bestvas. I'm not really doing anything to the plants other than watering them and making care they're give a proper amount of nutrients. Here and there I can spot a bit of nutrient burn but it's nothing to be concerned about. I'm making sure I flush the plants with the EC solution of around 2.0 to get rid of nutrients in the coco coir :) I started giving PK13/14 solution and hopefully bud production will explode soon! :)) I would give the plants 3 weeks or a week more until the harvest day. Hello everybody. The time is running fast but my girls still have few weeks until harvest. Some of the are developing really fast and will be done sooner :) Yesterday I flushed them with a plenty nutrients solution but next ones will be mild as the flowering is in the late stage:) As we had a sunny few hours I took the advantage of it and made some lovely photos on the balcony. I'm in love with my garden, and I have to admit S.A.D plants are for sure my favorites this round. :) So far so good, hopefully it stay like this till the end of the flowering cycle. Hi Guyz :) The week passed quickly and the girls are still doing quite nice. I was overreacting with fertilizer and caused the ladies some nutrient burn so I decided to flush them with a nutrient solution with EC around 1.4. I will be lowering the nutrient concentration from now as they're now preparing for a harvest day. They still need a couple of weeks until the end and I'm really excited about the harvest :)) Weather has been sunny for last three days which and helped a lot in lowering the humidity in the room which is around 50% during the day. Not bad at all! :) Other than that nothing special to report at this time. I have my fingers crossed the buds will swallow even more as they're maturing. Hi guyz, time is running fast and we're at the end of week 8 of flowering. I'm so much in love with the plants and the flowering garden looks simply amazing. This round has been amazing, fortunately no pests infected the ladies and no major issues or mistakes from my side. I could be more gentle with fertilizers, however I don't think it will affect the final yield. :) One the girls was defoliated before being chopped and others will follow in a week or so. I have been giving the plants only water with a flawless finish for a one week and I'll be doing so until the sweet end :) This time I want to keep the diary short and let the photos talk :)) Have a great growing and wish you a nice week. Hi everyone, thank you very much for subscribing to S.A.D diaries. It's been amazing reading all nice comments and thank you for the likes your giving! I really do appreciate. Let me give some grow report verdict. S.A.D strain seem to be a strong genetic, I've only grown two plants, one of them was really bushy with lots of colas and reached almost 1 metre in height. The second one was more compact and produced one main cola with huge buds on it. Both of them responded to LST extremely well and I do definitely recommend doing it to acchieve higher yield. No problems growing them at all, the only change I would perform If I grew it again is being more mild with the fertilizers, they surely don't require a lot. There isn't more much to say, sure I'll try S.A.D. again in the future as it's an outstanding strain. Hope you'll love the final reports and the photos.
