I tried Killer Kush auto before and I was amazed by the frostiness of the buds and decided to give it a try with a photoperiod variety. Can't wait what comes out 😀
Huge thank to Sweet Seeds for sending me all free seeds. I'm more than happy to share my experience with you guys and hope you'll enjoy the trip.
Last run was not the best one, I had huge issues with thrips, the COCO medium was used twice before and I should have replaced before. As it turned our all the roots were covered with small eggs which is probably the reason why spraying the plants was totally useless 😀
This time, I cleaned the tent and disinfected it well and filled the pots with fresh coco medium 😀
All six seeds sprouted and the seedlings are in a great shape, super healthy and rowing nicely.
I've been adding nothing more than rhizotonic and tapped water leveled to pH 5.8.
Nothing else to report right now. 💪
Have a great week and wish you all great growing.
Mine stretched like hell, be prepared. I swaped light for flower, so maybe thats why as well. Amazing strain, you'll love it. All 3 showed purple colours.
@AsNoriu, hey AsNoriu I have to say i listened to your advice and defoliated a lot of my Killer Kush...at the beginning i defoliated some for the 3 or 4 days of dark time before chop and than yestarday decided i will give her one more week because the amber trichomes where so little also found many transparent so defoliated some more 😎 It was a very good advice i feall stupid i did not do that earlier.
And one of them is definitely showing purple sugar leaves 💜 Thx for the advice growmie 🍻💚
@AsNoriu, it ended up quite well. I got around 100 g with two plants. The buds are rather small but the smoke is outstanding, I just need to make a final report :))
@Med_in_Tropic, sure, I had to raise the lights up and turn off 2 out of 4 :) now they’re doing really nice and I’m thinking to leave them in veg for a week more.
I just finished up an organic grow with this strain, chopped on day 45. I'd give the bud a 6-7 on a 10 scale-potency was moderate most likely because they produced a lot of seeds and I never saw any male parts-thinking back it must've been a reaction to light stress-so I'd be attentive to light hanging distances and addressing any signs of stress with this strain rapidly.
