Put 2 seeds down yesterday both have split and tap root is starting to emerge after 24h always a good sign going to leave them for a few more days before putting them in to soil been using cocoa coir on previous diary’s thought I’d give soil a try. A bit more forgiving with the ph Iv been advised so let the growing commence thanks for looking
5/12 put them both in to peat pellets after sprouting both emerging so Iv put them into soil 15L pots ran water through the soil till it ran off covered them over so not to dry them out too fast Iv changed the hortyking bulbs I was using they didn’t do anything for the last seed I put down so put a 400w & 600w sunmaster dual spectrum in all looking cosey in the tent got a couple of weeks left on the big yield at at week 9 and one is looking like it’s going to be done in time for crimbo 🤞🤞thanks for looking
It’s been a good week a lot of progress to say it was a seed a week ago glad to get them in the tent for a temperature controlled environment hope the sunmaster bulbs do the trick going to have to change were the pots are seedlings are in the shade at the minute which isn’t too bad Iv got the lights on 400&600w keeping the temp at 28 around the canopy so it will be cooler for them lower down. 9/12 first set of true leaves are just forming put a couple of cm on in 24h they are ok with the lights then so far so good 😊 will keep posting thanks for looking
End of week 2 since germination and things are all going good had an issue with one of the girls I nocked it while moving it up higher so now having to support her for awhile they have got a few sets of leaves now they have been too low so I made a box for my new intake fan and put them on that for the time been. A couple more weeks left on my other diary they are taking up a lot of space Iv turned the lights down to 250&400w see if it will help on the veg stage while giving enough light for the others to finish off I’m wondering when I should start on the nutrients they are in peat pellets and bio bizz soil so should be good for a week or so Iv not grown in soil so don’t no if anything is different to growing in cocoa fibre got them on water at the moment ph is at 6 any advice on what nutrients would be good to try thanks for looking I will keep posting
Really good week end of week 3 been giving a low dose of nutrients but going to up it and and start with cal mag,bio heaven,hygen humibooster, growing has really taken off got some nice leaves growing and getting bigger by the day both are about same size and doing good harvested one of other plants from other diary so freed up a bit of space got a week left on other so they will have tent to them selves for a bit and give me a chance to get ready for LST really looking forward to seeing how these two go and if any different from last auto not got any good photos at mo will put some better ones up in a few days thanks for looking

Hi all quick question I’v gone for soil on this grow to see the difference and it’s totally different feeding Iv left them for 4 days with out feeding and the pot still feel heavy the plants look and are growing ok but they aren’t drying out like coca coir using 15L pots temp 28
Soil will never dry as fast as coco, wait until the top inch is completely dry before watering, and if you are using organic nutrients/living soil do not water until runoff, just until soil is saturated. Happy growing.
Week 4 has been a good week for them both one is shorter than the other. I had this with my last diary when one was bigger don’t no why and I only got half as much off the smaller one. Hopefully this will catch up over time. I’m trying biobizz soil in stead of coca coir see if there’s any difference the girls have had the tent to them selves for nearly a week so more room for them to grow. Been having problems with the intake and exhaust running off separate temp controls so had a lot of positive pressure tent has been like a balloon so got a ram pro dual fan controller it’s stopped the ballooning and holding pressure evenly have to go back and check later to check temp monitor to see how it’s held turned both lights up to 400w to see if they keep it under control. Put a few new photos up everything is going good no sight of any flowering yet so will keep vega feed Iv noticed with the soil you don’t feed as much it takes days to dry out coca coir was dry after 24h well not using as much nutrients I suppose but concerned they arnt getting enough air to the roots well time will tell.

1/1/21 day 32 another update been a few days since last entry both have really come on in hight flowering has begun so time to change the nutrients on to Flores feed and other bloom stimulators started with some LST and defoliation put up before and after photos from today everything is going great soil taking ages to dry so not feeding as much as coir don’t no if it’s normal and the ram2 dual fan controller is ace temp not gone over 28 humidity is holding 50/60 everything on the data logger is in the green since installing fan controller great peace of gear quieter than the smscom singles I was using perfect temp every time and no positive pressure 👍👍👍👍
Start of week 6 everything is going good both have come on a lot in size it looks like they’re more sativa than indica they are tall and don’t have many leaves not as bushy LST is going good they are both opening up well not a lot of bud sites on these 2 hopefully they will get more feeding is every few days soil seems to be holding the moisture better so not as much feeding will keep posting thanks for looking
Hi I’m having some leaf issues at the mo on one plant the leaves tips are curling down and the tops of both are going yellow as you can see in the photos temps have been cold for past few nights so lights on at 21 lights off 16 for 4h using soil feed ph6 lights were 25cm 2x600w
You have light stress. Light is too close plus it is probably too chilly. About 40 to 50 cm is flowering and 60 Is vegging. Good luck. Leaves won't repair themselves but can stop it from getting worse. Happy growing. 🌲🌲🌲👊
Does the temperature of the feed alter the ph. I made some feed a week ago ph 5.9 but had to turn radiator off in the shed because snow kept melting so feed is now 10c in stead of previous 18c but I checked ph the other day and it had gone up to 9.3 can I put feed in tent 4 heat?
Temps do affect pH but it shouldn't be that much. Water at 7 pH will have a pH of 6.14 at boiling temperatures. I would take a small sample into a warmer area and retest the pH. Most meters compensate for temp as well, so if it gives you a temperature, it probably automatically compensates.
Shake up your solution very well before taking a sample. Low temps could have caused some kind of separation within the solution.
End of week 6 things are starting to come along a bit more. Definitely getting more bud sitesthe tall one is 72cm and the smaller one is 55cm quite a difference in size the smaller one is more bushy due to the hight were the tall one is more stretched and seems bare in comparison they both had heat stress or light issues both were going yellow on the tallest parts had both lights on 600w for the heat so I didn’t have to use radiator which max temp over 30 so got the lights on 400w & 250w for the past few days which has stopped the problem done a lot of defoliation over the past week on both and managed to get some more LST on the new growth which is keeping them open and ventilated all new photos 12,01,21start of week 7 all is good keep safe and happy growing
17,01 been a busy few days done a lot of defoliation and carried on with LST on growing branches at the top bud sites have come on nicely getting more sites still and plumping up they both are doing good been a different growing experience got a new arrival last of my blue monster seeds so I’ll have a bit of experience on it and no what to expect not done a diary for it yet.new Ram pro temp controller is great not having issues with the temp no more it helps having temp display on unit so you no what temp is not like smscom were your hopping you set the right temp it’s a definite must for small tents posted new photos 👍👍
Another good week been doing a lot of defoliation over the past week but going to try to leave them alone and just carry on with the LST to keep them open they seem to be drinking more having problems with the humidity up 80/90% it’s pulling cold air in to a humid tent going to try intake on 0 and let it come on with max temp Iv got a small dehumidifier I can try too don’t want to get mould at this stage so going to have to keep watching thanks for looking
20/1 been back to do a feed ended up bending the top of the big one over she was too close to the lights it’s given me another 5” and put both lights on 250w put the intake on to temp control so it’s not on all the time and exhaust on 5% so hopefully will sort the humidity and while I was there ended up doing a bit more defoliation they should be good for a few days I’ll see how the temp and humidity goes over next 24h see if it’s helped or not thanks for looking
Another good week all growing as they should be budz are still small but very sticky with a realy nice citrus and pine smell bending the top over on the big one has helped with the light stress did a big defoliation on the small one very bushy with the 30cm difference keep on repositioning LST so I can get better light to the bud sites at the bottom will see how it goes over next few days bigger one is needing a defoliation at some point too will keep posting thanks for looking
Another good week all growing as they should be budz are still small but very sticky with a really nice chocolate orange smell going on looking forward to trying it out got about 50% amber on the tall one so another week or so on that took all the ties from LST and unleashed the top to get a bit of light to were it’s been bent over the smaller one looks to be a week or two behind even though they were germinated together been checking ph before each feed been having some brown spots appear on the older leaves and been advised it could be not enough calcium so uped the calmag for now toill I can get calcium only and see how I go but could be down to end of flowering hopefully thanks for looking
Been another good week ended up cutting the bigger one down the othere day got 200g wet recon I’ll lose about 2 thirds once dry other is just about done budz are really sticky upon having a look in between the budz I found what look like sacks Iv taken photos of them if anyone no’s what they are please let me no they are empty Iv taken a few off to see if anything inside is she herming on me Iv got another plant in with her same strain on week 6 which has started flowering a few weeks ago that looks to have sacks all so I’ll put a few photos at the end thanks for looking
Was a weird one to get started but a good strain to work with didn’t try anything major just stuck with LST and defoliation which it handled really well I tryed the different nutrients to see if they improved the final out come but I’m not sure they work who no’s a bit disappointed in the final weight but a good experience thanks to zamnesia for the opportunity to try one of there extensive strains 👍👍👍👍👍👍
