Soaked seeds overnight before putting in soil. Took a couple of days before sprouting but one was a dud. Accidentally poured water over the seedling and dislodged it. Repositioned and set back in the middle of the soil. oops 😕
Not much growth during the last week. She is stunted since I had to reposition her in the soil. I hope she recovers well. The other seed was a dud and tossed her out.
The baby Girls Scout Cookie is doing just fine. Responding well to the nutrients and showing good growth. Lights are still at around 150W but will gradually increasing to 300W
The Purple Urkle is doing great. This week she got topped and removed some of the fan leaves. I need to start figuring out where I would flower this one. As always, running out of space or lack of planning is always an issue. Hahahaha! I'll figure it out as we go, it always works out in the end 😉
Performed some HST to maintain level of canopy. Removed lower growth so she can focus her energy where is counts. She is filling up this pot pretty well, might even transfer her in a 3 gallon.
More Low Stress Training this week maintaining a level canopy. Increasing nutrients for flowering within the next couple of weeks. She'll be transferred to a 3 gallon pot and will bloom along with the Girl Scout Cookies I have. Check out my Girl Scout Cookies diary 👍
Transferred the Purple Urkle to a 3 gallon pot. More Low Stress Training for the week before the switch to 12/12. She is looking good and ready to flower!!!! Original plan was to SCROG the GSCs but since this one will be joining I removed the screen and will let them bush up.
Switched to bloom along with the Girl Scout Cookies. Some defoliation and more LST to maintain a level canopy. Stay tuned, the ladies are ready to take off 👆
This Purple Urkle coming at week 2 of bloom has shown great progress. Awesome growth and pistils are shooting out everywhere. Some of the fan leaves are also showing some shimmer to them. Minor defoliation will be performed throughout next week. Mainly removing bigger fan leaved covering other bid sites and improving light penetration.
4/20 update! might as well do an update before I get busy this weekend. Light distance had to be adjusted once more due to the flowering stretch. They should be done stretching and start stacking up those pretty buds. Purple Urkle stretched more than my GSCs. No change in nutrients since last week. Minor defoliation this week and done with training. They are starting to smell 😀
Another update for the Purple Urkle... She still stretched this past week and is now 16" from top of soil. More defoliation to get better light penetration but that should do it. Cruise control from this point on. A little tweaking on nutrients to finish off flowering. Buds are stacking up nicely and very little pistils changing color.
Nutrients for this week has slightly changed, Recharge and Grow Big has been reduced and will be stopped by next week. As expected, buds are fattening up and making good progress. slight change of color on pistils. Trichome production is on point and should still continue over the next few weeks.
Another week closer to harvest. No change in nutrients this week, flush will soon begin once most trichomes are milky. Buds are stacking up nicely and smell is getting stronger. Pistils are now turning brown and some trichomes are staring to get milky. Stay tuned for the next update.
Buds are looking really good, stacked up nicely. Trichomes are mostly milky and pistils are showing a nice orange hue. Started flushing with mammoth P with molasses. Looks like this one will be ready to harvest within the next couple of weeks.
Easy to grow, trained it good with LST and I could tell it would be great to scrog this too. Double in flowering stretch so keep that in mind. Kinda bummed out that this pheno of this one is not purple. Maybe the remaining seeds I have would express the purple trait. Finished up earlier than expected. week 8 was showing amber trichomes all over the plant so chopped her down.
Will update with final numbers and proper photoshoot of buds!!!!0
