Welcome to day 22 in soil for my 6 plant multi grow. A few changes since last weeks update. Again, five of the plants are doing well but one of the Creamatic seedlings just wasn’t happy so I decided to remove it and germinate another to replace it. I think it’s just a bad seed and nothing would have made it recover. This is one of the things I’ve learned from growing. Sometimes you can be the best grower but if the seed is damaged or bad it doesn’t matter what you do, it’s never going to produce anything. Take the loss and move on. This plant will be a couple of weeks later than the others and the light is at 75% so I’ll push this plant off to the side of the grow space and keep it out of the direct intensity. The other five plants are killing it. They all look super healthy and taking well to the LST I started last week. Biggest plant is the Northern lights which is already 30cm across followed by one of the solomatics and the fat banana. All three are exceptional. The other solomatic is a week younger so a good bit smaller but coming on nicely 👍🏻 Humidity has been a bit low but nothing too serious. I’ll keep an eye on it and adjust as required. It should sort itself out as soon as I start watering them more. Hi all. Started a 6 plant grow on the 17th dec but one of the plants is struggling. For the first 4 days they were under clear plastic beakers to up the humidity. On day 5 they were all looking fine but this guy had a few brown marks on the leaves and have now turned yellow.

Sorry for your loss. Your plant dying is probably the result of having been covered with a plastic beaker for four days. Cannabis is not a rainforest plant and does not require artificially high levels of humidity. The high humidity has probably provided the ideal for fungus to grow and this fungus has transferred to your plant, causing death. Also, plants need good air circulation, not only to strengthen them, but to also provide them with carbon dioxide and remove excess moisture from the leaves. The brown marks were undoubtedly caused by fungus and once the fungus gets into the stem, it is bye bye seedling. In reality, only clones/cuttings need extra humidity, because when freshly taken, they do not have a root system to provide them with water. Next time, keep the seeds moist and in the open air, just like Mother Nature has done for 100s of thousands of years and they will be just fine. Good luck and happy growing! ,..... Organoman.

Hi all. I’ve seen some discolouration creep into some leaves on my fat banana over the past few days. I’ve just ( in the last week ) changed from easy grow during veg to biobizz biobloom during veg with a drop of cal-mag. The plant was damaged during LST so what’s the issue ?

Thanks guys. Water is in the high 7s so pretty hard. So far only one watering contained a small dose of cal-mag but I’ll remove it from the next watering which is due tomorrow. Run off looks fine so I’m discounting that. I was more concerned that the damage to the plant may have caused. The only leave effected are the older growth so I’ll monitor for any spreading

Hi all. I have a multi grow that has finished sooner than expected. Two plants will be cut in 48 hours but can I dry them in a grow tent that still being used to grow the other four plants ? The two smell so strong so need the carbon filter to work it’s magic - hence the questio

Not the best, but if you do, keep your flowers out of direct light - any light striking your harvested flowers will cause cannabinoids to degrade. Hope this helps,........ Organoman.

I agree with you guys. I’m just thinking of my options. I’ll probably go with my previous technique and set up a 6foot by 4x4 cardboard box with a small fan to circulate air. It’s going to stink up the place but I guess that’s better than mould or other issue 👍🏻

Hi, well you can do it, but it is not ideal at all, you will loose potency and you might have some problem with too much moisture in the box but if you use your extractor fan you might reach a good level.... Good luck

Hi all. Quick question. Just finished a grow and wondered if people clean their fabric pots before reusing them. They obviously absorb some nutrients etc so how do you wash them ? Full cycling in a washing machine or just a bit of clean water to get the old soil off. Cheers

Hey there Onandon, The main idea is that you want to sterilize them, so the very best you can do is to put it in a pressure cooker for 45 minutes. this will sterilize them completely , otherwise any other way to wash them works, but it's less useful. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Nice growdiary man! Will follow along as I'm growing some RQS seeds too atm. Hope your fat banana recovers well from the snap, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Also had this issue before, and if it's not in the final weeks your plant still has plenty of time to recover. Happy growing! 👊

I have zero experience with soil so couldn't share anything in that subject. I do have an opinion on Autos though. Autos are autos, they don't give a shyte mate ... not going into too much detail, but I now grow fems and have not had a shit cycle yet. SOOO much more control in my humble opinion. Don't let it get you down. you have a pretty neat setup. so chin up and try again 👍 You will nail it next time.

@APOLLO, cheers 🍻. It’s a pain in the hole. The one remaining plant which was grown two weeks later wasn’t given any cal- mag which all the others had, and is what I thought caused the issues. But now that little pick is getting rusty too. I have a bunch of auto seeds to run before I try anything else but I may do as you suggest and just move away from Autos.
