Green gelato FIMing LST experience

25/12/20 Hey all, Merry christmas!!! :D . The plant was transplanted in this little pot, just a few days, during which the first node will be developed. the 2l pot is ready to welcome the plant for this moment. The set-up is a little bit weird. I've taken 2 little cardboard boxes to be on the right distance from the light. I think I could harvest the tallest plant soon, so I will down the light very soon. I placed the plant on a place where the light could go easily. I don't put nutes yet of course, just bottled water to be sure to bring only good things to her. 28/12/20, mid week. I transplanted it on the 2L pot. she's okay, she's healthy and she grew pretty well. Today I will try to water it with very few nutrients and some roots stimulant. She find her place between the 3 other one. I put some easy boost from RQS in the soil, but a very few.

week 2, 30/12/20. Hey all, 2nd week so. she grow pretty well, at a normal speed (I feared to get a slow pheno). The first true node will be developed in 3-4 days. I began to give her a very few nutes with roots stimulant, as expected. It's very funny to see this little plant growing in the middle of big girls flowering. I water 0.25l of water every time I see the soil is dried. 01/01/2021. Hey everyone, happy new year!!!! I cut 2 of my Green Gelatos today so I take the time to check my little experience too. She develop her first true node pretty quickly, it's very good. I give her few nutes and she seems to like that. 04/01/2021. Hey!! a new updates of this lil' experience. She grow pretty fast, I gave her nutes and roots stimulant and she like it! The 2nd node is growing, I will FIM on the 3d node.

Hey everyone, 3d week, 06/01/2021. The plant grow quickly, thanks to the roots stimulant I guess, I'm happy. The 3d node is growing, I will FIM it tomorrow or after tomorrow, because I want the apex a little bit bigger. I will apply a LST in the same time with gardening cable. So the most interesting part arriving very soon. 08/01/2021. I FIM, I checke the apex this afternoon and it was ready for a cut, I'm glad that I could do this a the good time. I will prepare my LST, I don't do it today, the stem are really too short. I can't wait to see her survive with this stress, and create 4 more branches. And I also cut the 2 first leaves. 10/01/2021. the FIM is a success!!! This morning I search some diaries with fimming and lst like me to see when the 4 branches appears, then I checked on my plant and they are!!! I'm really happy! We can see the new branches on the 2nd pics, just below the apex cut there is a little branch. I wait the 2 others that the FIM must create. Tomorrow I will start the LST. 11/01/2021. Good morning y'all, this morning I prepared my LST. I use some gardening cable planted in the soil to bend the branches, and I put some paper clip on the round of the pot, very usefull when the plant's bigger . I also watered this morning. this morning I noticed 2 new branches, between the apex and the cut branches of the apex. I have now 4 new stem thanks to this FIMing, really happy :D . I would like to say that I don't do all of this without a little bit of knowledge. I ask a lots of questions to few growers and I want to thank them (they will recognize themselves). End of the week, 12/01/2021. I make lots of update this week, but it's an important week. I never tried these techniques and I'm pretty happy that it's worked. Now I'm waiting for the flowering stage, I will continu this LST for a while, and will see the results. Actually I can say that these techniques are really easy to execute, so I could say that I want to use them for the next session(s).

4th week, 13/01/2021. Hi! A new week after the begging of the experience. I continu to manage the LST, it work very well. The plant recovered the speed of growth she had before the FIM, it's really good. I think I will defoliate this week. 16/01/2021. Hey everyone! Today I made a little update for my LST. The gardening cable nin the soil wasn't enough, so I use the paper clip I put all around the pot. The paper clips are pretty usefull thanks to the 2 hold on each clip. I also climb on the plant and I bent a new internode. I wait few days again and I will bend 2 new branches. I also cut 2 pairs of big leaves which were hidding light to colas below. I finally build a stand for my grow box. I've had enough to work on my knees, now the plants are on my level and I can work standing. 19/01/2021 End of the week. Hey all, the plants grow fast, it's really good, I managed the LST today, check and ajust, nad I add 2 branches on the LST, I have paper clips all around the pot .

5th WEEK, 20/01/2021. Hey all !! We start a new week, I believe it will be a change week of change, because I think she will start her pre-flowering stage very soon. I updated the LST again today, to get some straight branches until the flowering stage. I also cut all the leaves growing on the bottom of the plant. I really love this strain, she's pretty responsive to the LST and the FIM. It's a real pleasure to manage the LST. 23/01/2021, mid week. Hello! My little experience works pretty well, the LST was just a bite too hard on a branch and it broke, but she's okay. The part broken was just like I topped this branch, there was 2 little colas behind and I bent them. She grow quickly, we can see on the pics that the pistils start to appears, but I keep waiting to give preflo nutes. I updated the LST again today, But I think that was the last time, I want to get the calixes straight toward the light now. 25/01/2021, end of the week. Hello! I stop the LST since 3 days, the calixes starts to grow toward the light. The plant grow fast, I put 1 liter for 2 days now. The preflo stage is on, she developed all her pistils really really fast, slow-mo pistils explosion ^^. I can't wait to see her full of buds.

27/01/2021, 6th week, 1st week of flowering. Hey everyone, ne week starting, with flowering !! I can't wait to see the results of the techniques I use Actually, I keep the LST but I don't update it, I want that the buds go upward. I put the proflo nutes dose with 1 liter of water every 2 days. 30/01/2021. Hey, new update! the plant grow fast, she create very nice colax, it's beautiful, I checked the light footprint, it's pretty good, I could have done it better, but it was my first time, and it's not bad at all. It's a real pleasure to see the buds going straight up. The LST worked pretty well, and the 2L gronest pot seems pretty efficient, I really enjoy it. I think I will give her the flowering dose of nutrients in 2 days, for the next watering. 01/02/2021. Yo everyone, pretty good week (and weed 😍). She develops very nice colas. I hope she will give nice buds. Today I gave her the first flowering nutes doses (updated in the diary's datas). She grew so fast !! I'm impressed ^^. I realize that the LST could be better, like to avoid to align 2 stem one aboce the other. But it's my first time, and the light footprint isn't that bad. I carry on the defoliation. I often remove some leaves on the bottom, which ones block the light.

7th week, 03/02/2021, beginning of the week, . Hello all! A new week begins. the plant starts to lightly smell, and I love this fragrance. She flowers really well, she's very healthy. I will carry on the defoliation this week to manage the light footprint. 05/02/2021. Hey everyone, firstly I wanted to correct a mistake, last Wednesday, on the frist day of the week I wrote Monday, I was fucking high so I don't know why I did it 😅. So, the plant is okay, really healthy. She blooms quickly, every day I see the buds bigger and bigger, it's very nice. The first trichomes arrive. I gave her bloom nutes doses since 5 days and she like it. Today I defoliated the bottom part, to free some light. This strain is really good for LST and other soft techniques, it was the first time I did it but I was confident with this strain. 07/02/2021, mid week. hello everyone. This experience is pretty good, The flowering is not finished of course, but I really like how this plant grow and bloom. This week is awesome, the plants change every day, it's so nice. 09/02/2021 Hey! It's the end of a pretty productive week. The bloom exploded this week, it's really cool to see this. I wonder to what extent the buds will get big. I think I must buy some calmag for the next session, I want that the plant fully enjoy the light, and I read that it can help for.

8th week, 11/02/2021. Hey everyone, 8th week. I haven't lots of things to say, it's pretty calm. The plant's blooming slowly but surely. The LST made the job, but I could have managed better it, so this session is an excellent lesson for me, I learned a lot. 13/02/2021. Hi everybody. Not too much to say today. The bloom's allright. I think I will not have a big yield, but I will see. I wantt to see. For the next session, I tried to choose some strain with bigger buds from RQS. 16/01/2021; Hello! The end of the week! it was a calm week, but productive. The buds have grown this week. I guess they will stay little, but on the last session, the buds was not very big. I want to try it with an indica plant to see how the buds could be big.

20/02/2021, mid week. Hey everybody, I wasn't home so I couldn't create this new week. But I'm home! I was a lil' surprised when I saw her today. She didn't made big buds, but I expected that with this sativa (in my last session, the buds wasn't very big), but it wasn't the goal. I'm pretty happy to see the results on this plant, I learned a lot about LST and FIMing. 22/02/2021. Hey, everything is allright! the flowering start to look like something good. The pistils starts to burnish.

26/02/2021 Hey everyone, I'm really busy actually so I haven't the time to update the diary when I would to do it. Beside this, the plant is healthy, she will be finished soon I gues. A big majority of pistils are brown now, so I guess I will keep her 1 week and cut. I received the new seeds for the next session. I will move for work so I will do only 2 plants. I wanted to do 4 plants but my family will care of my plants, and I don't want to give them too much of work. So I will grow just 2 plants by 2 plants. 01/03/2021. Hey everyone, really sorry, I don't post often this week. As I said last time I'm busy actually. Today, I noticed that a big parts of pistils are brown. It was prettu quick. I think I will cut soon.

04/03/2021, start of the week. Hello! So I think it's the last week, the leaves become more and more yellow, it's spring for her ^^ . I start to flush 2 days ago, and I will continue during this week. I will cut next wednesday. I can't wait to see the results of this little experience, I didn't expect a big yield, just a minimum. But when I look at these buds, maybe it will not be so bad. 09/03/2021, end of the last week. Hey all! Today's the last day. I flush all the week with clear water, I really want to know the dry weight. It was a good experiment and a nice training for these techniques. I launch a new session with 2 strain, the seeds sprouted yesterday, really cool. Thank you all for follwing this diary, it was so cool.

Hey everyone! So this experience is finished. It was really instructive and fun. I learned a lot, the LST was not perfect, and I think I needed some other nutes as silica and calmag. I think I will buy both this week for my new sessions. The final yield will be around 20G, it's not really big, but I have to carry on to make more. thanks for following this diary, and see you on the news one.
