Dark devil has been flushed six days ago and the run-off pH was down to 6.3. No nutrients has been added to the dark devil and the new growth on the plant looks better although it’s not at the growth level of the other plants. The fat banana and Northern Lights have all been low stress trained and pinned down with wire. Both of the Royal Queen plants are growing well but One fat banana has slight nutrient burn due to being in soil unlike the other plants that are in coco. All of the plants have been given plain water but I will start to add nutrients again at the start of week six.

Does my dark devil look like it’s dying? Is there anything I may be able to do to save it or make it better. There’s some discolouration around the leaves and they look shrivelled up. Thanks

bro it is not dying yet but things may get worse if you don't transfer them to new pots. They are being burned at the moment. There must be some serious nutrient buildup in those small pots.Either flush hard or transplant.I would do the second.Just give the roots more free space to discover. Those pots will do the same thing again in a week even if you get over the nutrient burn problem. If you want to keep them in those pots still, I would recommend you a water+water+feed cycle until problem disappears but transplanting is a better idea if you would ask my opinion.Fat Banana doesn't seem to care about the buildup that much but others are obviously very sensitive to nutrients.

she’s not as big as the other plants and looks a big shrivelled up. Does anyone know why she might be like this and anyway I can improve it? It might be something to do with the weather as it’s a bit cold. I’ve gave it half as much nutrients as the other plants. Thanks

She is still a baby plant and needs very little feeding, let alone being drowned with nutrients. After transplanting you should only give plain water until growth resumes. No matter how careful you are, some root damage/trauma will occur and until your plant recovers from this operation, plain water is the best medicine for it. By giving nutrients so soon after transplanting, the plant has to cope with re-establishing its most vital parts, the roots, find water and on top of it all, deal with mineral fertilizers and due to the roots still not being fully recovered, the mineral salts in the fertilizer will actually "suck" water out of your plant by reverse osmosis, causing dehydration. Try giving her only plain water until she picks up, then go back to quarter strength nutrients until she has 8-10 nodes, then step up to half strength. It is far easier to treat a slightly under fed plant than it is to rescue a over fed and burnt plant. Just like a human baby, your seedlings need gentle feeding until they are adults and just as with humans, you don't give babies T-Bone steaks or seedlings massive feeds with multiple nutrients. Hope this helps,...... Organoman.

It is very easy to overwater as well. I go straight into final pots for autos. Right from sprouting. I think they need this to allow the least set backs. My rule is never to let the water spread out much beyond the stretch of the leaves. With smaller plants this means watering more often. When you overwater an older plant it will droop and look heavy. But if you overwater them when young they will stop growing and the leaves will start showing signs of nutrient lock out. Mottled and warped. You have time to recover. Put holes in the soil to help dry it out. Fast Banana has been my favourite plant so far. Good luck.

@Lucidite, Hi, I’ve put the flowers into fabric pots now and also started some more small ones straight into final pots like you said to help with overwatering. Fat banana is smelling very tropical at the moment and the northern lights smells amazing. The dark devil has been problematic from the start but should get a few grams off her.

@timbarin, Yeah I was a little worried about her as she wasn’t doing as well as the others but I reckon she’ll just be a slow one. Thank you 🙏

Actually the Northern Light is also a great strain. Vapping that one atm. Surprised by the heady strength given it is a lower THC.

These plants are very sensitive to N and overwatering. There aren't big plants and the most you should do is LST it.
