12/24 Starting off with photoperiod wedding cookies in Jiffy pellet 50% humidity and 75F
12/28 sprouted, took her four days now we watch her grow, hopefully can place her into 5 gal pot by next week
12/29 placed her about 18 inches from light, perked right up, fast one this one is
1/1 Upon taking apart the jiffy mesh i saw a giant white tap root well grown out of the pellet looking for more soil, should have transplanted sooner, slight oops. I had also read that with photoperiod plants its good to gradually get larger containers instead of sticking her in a huge 5 gal, so I'm testing this out for the first time, excited to see how this one goes!
1/3 she's growing!
1/4 watered a bit in a circle around the seedling, shes growing her second set already :)
1/8 shes onto growing her third set, things are going good😌
1/11 growing fast!
1/12 look at that growth overnight, top soil dry but will water+feed tomorrow morning
1/13 fed first nutrients, only cal-mag, watered until runoff
1/15 wow she is reacting very well to the cal mag I gave her a few days before, maybe transplant into 3 gal sometime this week
1/16 another spurt, got my air pots today, thinking a transplant tomorrow and a good water should keep her happy
1/17 we are now in a 5 gal fabric pot, bit rolled down so not exactly 5 gal, had a somewhat seamless transfer, a few chunks of soil came apart, hopefully didn't damage any internal roots too much... fed cal-mag and watered until run off, now we wait😌
1/18 I think she grew a bit overnight, very good news, the transplant was nothing detrimental
1/20 lots of growth overnight, only thing i noticed is leaves became ridged after the transplant mishap
1/21 steady growth
1/22 watered till run off and fed cal mag
1/24 leaves are growing big and fast
1/25 shes at 8 inches and main stem is stalkin up
1/26 top soil looking a bit dry, water tomorrow
1/27 will water tomorrow soil is still moist under first inch, lst started today, just bending top branch for now
1/29 watered and fed with cal-mag until run off, adjusted some lst on side branches, temp gauge reads lower humidity these past few days in the grow space
1/30 getting taller, looking really green and healthy
1/31 started more lst
2/2 lst is going well, stalk is thickening
2/4 watered with cal-mag till run off morning more lst
2/5 start of week 6, her fan leaves are huge, very healthy green color, warming up lately, steady 70-80F with moderate humidity
2/7 more lst on top branch and surrounding, hard to tell in pics but she is quickly growing her side branches
2/10 more lst, lots of new growth, pushing fan leaves for new growth, fed cal-mag and watered til run off
2/13 more adjusting of previous lst and adding more lst, she's really got a healthy green glow😊
2/14 watered till run-off
2/15 reacting well to lst
2/16 more lst
2/17 noticing gnats so i put diametrious earth on top soil, more lst adjusting she is just blooming every day with veg growth
2/22 watered and fed cal-mag until run-off, canopy very elevated haven't had to adjust lst in a couple days, bottom fan leaves are yellowing
2/23 added lst on top node and a side branch
2/25 watered and fed cal-mag until run-off, moved her to the back of the grow room she was just getting too bushy
2/26 more lst to top node and some surrounding, her branches were getting cramped in that one area
2/28 fed tiger bloom and watered until run-off, noticed the top soil was getting hard and shallow, added some OF soil mixed with perlite to the top soil for added nutrients and support, still veg growth some yellowing of the LARGE fan leaves at the bottom, no signs of flowering yet
3/2 watered until run-off, defoliated large bottom yellow fan leaves and some leaves on the very bottom of branches (semi-lolipopping i guess) added another lst to main stem and adjusted some surrounding
3/5 fed tiger bloom + cal-mag watered til runoff she's drinking a lot! defoliated 2 more large fan leaves that were yellowing, no more yellow so far
3/7 lots of veg growth, looking good, no more yellowing leaves
3/9 watered and fed tigerbloom+ cal-mag unil run-off..looking really healthy, no more lst just tucking leaves where i see
3/11 adjusted some lst's to maintain even canopy...not sure why she isn't flowering yet, you can see where i had to cut large fan leaves from the main stem in pictures
3/14 so i realized i should switch this gal to flower after many weeks of strong veg growth, outside sun dies around 7p-6a, a way longer night period than 9p-3a but my theory is the sun will provide more than my light ever would so it should even out enough to trigger flowering and be able to keep her outside until harvest, watered and fed tiger bloom +cal mag
3/15 watered and fed tiger bloom, shes drinking almost everyday, the sun dries out the soil quicker too
3/18 -3/19 water and feed tiger bloom+ cal mag about every 2-3 days now, added more lst to top branches and brought her back inside as the sun hasn't been too powerful latley/not enough hours. She looks to be in flowering as of 3/19
3/21 still back indoors
3/22 In flower as of halfway through last week, still feeding and watering every 2-3 days, very healthy green leaves fed tiger bloom + cal-mag and watered
3/23 doing an indoor-outdoor experiment, letting the plant get sun during the day (roughly 8 hrs outdoor light) and then back inside until the next day (4 hrs indoor light). still sustaining the 12/12 schedule needed for flowering in a photoperiod plant.
3/24 watered and fed cal-mag +tiger bloom
3/25 lots of defoilation of leaves that don't get much light or are blocking airflow, also branches on very lower stems that won't produce worthy buds like lolipopping
3/28 watered and fed all nutrients, defoliated some more + sprayed neem oil and diatomaceous earth on top soil for prevention, seen some little pests and want to be safe
3/30 watering more frequently, every day practically, nutrients every other day.. stalks are shooting up taller every day..normal defoliation of bottom leaves for air circulation
4/7 watering every day in the morning, she suffered a fall from the winds last night, no damage done but im keeping her back indoors until the storms blow over here
4/10 watered with nutrients every morning
4/16 really want to transplant to bigger pot so I don't have to water every single day but I don't wanna stress her out, going to do more research, anyways regular defoilation, shes gaining inches every day
4/25 experienced a fall yesterday so i had to strap both sides of pot to the wood below it, no major breaks, a lot of fan leaves damaged and defoilated. still watering every day
4/29 watering and nutrients every day, plucking lower fan leaves every once in awhile
5/6 watering morning and nights sometimes, drinking a lot, defoilation steadily throughout week
5/15 watering and feeding every day, so far handling humidity okay, having to defoliate more for airflow, neem oil in soil twice a week, smells pretty strong nowadays.
5/19 some yellowing and curling of leaves
5/22 nutes every morning, neem on fan leaves + soil at least twice a week, still defoliation of yellowing leaves Shes my smelliest of all in the garden right now
5/26 some wood got knocked over and severed a branch, I was able to twist tie, last time this happened to a previous plant the twist tie gave enough support so the branch can fully heal at the node, introduced a new nutrient (flower fuel by element nutrients) powdered so very low in dosage (1/4 teaspoon every gal) and cut out the tiger bloom, see if I can get her to show more trichomes
5/29 starting flush soon might give the flower fuel a few more doses to really boost the phosphorus and potassium for the last week before flush, watering every morning nutrients every other water
@hannabis420, your soil should have some nutrients in it. Don't over do it with the cal-mag, you may need to add more N-P-K nutrients though, if the yellowing continues.
@CanadianFillmore, whats your thoughts the soil in the pot has some nutrients in it, (fox farms OF), and I give cal mag every week, you think I should introduce different nutrients, or just more heavy/often feedings of cal-mag
