Last Friday I've decided to pop a seed of El patron. After 40ish hours between paper towels, sprouting happened.
She gotten quite laggy in the week and seems like a good start for us.

It's been a very slow growth for the plant and she gotten very leggy. I really dislike that. Therefor I have moved all my plants under the 100w QB board.
I want her to grow and be awesome!
28/12 - 3/1
Welcome to this week. She is getting fed every 3 days with nutes. happy plant all and all.
she stopped stretching which is really good for me.
4/1 - 10/1
Another week is in the books for this lovely plant. I didn't like the 1l pot and also I wanted to stop the streach. On Friday I transplanted her to the bigger pot.
11/1 - 17/1
She is showing slow growth in comparison to her friends. I think the transplant last week shocked her quite badly. The plant next to her doubled in size after the move to 7L bucket.
Hopefully she will recover this week.
18/1 - 24/1
The plant is getting bushy every day but she is not getting taller at all. The spacing of the nodes is very small. I have 3 different diaries that started at the same date and they are triple the size of her. Still, she looks healthy.
25/1 - 31/1
The plant is getting very thick but won't stretch. I have topped her and started a bit of lst. Its not done by far, I still need to pull 3 or 4 more branches. But hey next week is another one

Closing up the week with some extreme topping and reshaping the plant. She is now in her final shape, in 3 weeks she will go into the tent and probably repot into 15L.
This plant stretch is crazy, she is very thin but tall and with huge leafs. Since she is placed in the back of the area I can't take good pictures of her

El patron.... Ahh what a name and what a plant. This is the tallest plant of them all. She reached the moon and looks very lanky and has huge fan leafs. To my readers, I promise these are the last crappie pix I take as she is moved into the big tent.
We are closing up this week with a major change for the plant. SHE IS IN THE TENT!!
Joy joy, happy joy! As the other two projects closed up, I have cleaned up the tent, sanitized, and moved her in.
She is very leggy and thin, also the bucket is 7L.
I don't want her to stay like that, I'm thinking to put her in 11L pot.....
The deficiency is continuing to be an issue. Checking the runoff I got 450ppm with ph 5.9
I think that this is potassium deficiency since P is absorbed at pH 6.1.
She was repotted into fabric pot of 15L. And I'm trying on her the plagron line, same as the other diary.
Nothing wrong with biocanna simply I wanted to try a different line just before flowering
Looking at the red stems on the stalk id say that this plant is suuuuuper stressed. I would start by raising the ph to around 6.2- 6.5, some of the issue could be lockout as you already suspect. That may fix some. I would water with just plain ph water for a few cycles just to see if it stabilizes.

The deficiency seems to disappear almost completely and the plant looks happier than last week.
I assume that in 4 weeks flowering period will begin. Waiting atm for 11L growtex bag. Once I get it I will move another plant into the tent and flower all the three
another week is in the books , not much to report here besides that the strech is quite big and she looks healthier than before.
i think the new food helped her out.

The countdown is starting today.
This is really exciting news, 16 weeks of veg was way to long and I really need to rethink my rotation plans with the plants.
She requires maximum of 12 weeks from seed using 15L pots. If I switch to 11L I think 8 weeks will suffice.
The scrog net is from yesterday.
Concluding the first week of flowering!
She started to show flower formation and looks healthy. I'm trying to control the growth of the plant. She should stop in two weeks
The feeding schedule has stabilized and the plants are getting fed every 48 hours with 5L solution.
The scrog net stops her from getting taller (110cm) and the flowers started to develop.
The smell also started to be noticeable.

This has been a very eventful week, as I was wrapping up last weeks entries I started to see white larve on my fan leafs and then I spotted like thrips. I took a biological pesteside and they seem to have died after spraying them twice.
On Thursday,the smart switch didn't turn off the light and this made me readjust my 12/12 cycle. Running it now from 9 to 9.
I also feel the plagron food is quite weak and dosen't really make big flowers
The plants are growing and getting fatter and thicker by the day. I can see shoots of red pistins on the flowers and they are very sticky.
The smell starts to be noticeable but I have a carbon filter so I'm sorted for now

It was an up and down week, the plant starts to show some druppy leafs and yellowing on some small leafs at the bottom of the plant. The rest of her looks is lush and green with long colas and very raiseny flowers.
Pretty standard week for the plants. One more week and it's chopping time. Well maybe 2 weeks 😂😂.
Feeding is getting a bit more intense now I fed every 24 hrz rather than 48 hrz
Ran out of green sensation so I'm back to biocanna boost.
Wrapped up week 8 for this plant. As I write this the feeding stoped and I switched over to tap water. She will be chopped off next week and hung to dry using wet method techniques.
Roughly a week ago I have mishandled a flower and it dropped off. After drying it for 3 days I gave it a go and the smoke was amazing. Its a real 50/50 and I think this will be the weed of 2020. @james be careful, you gonna run out of stocks 😁😁😁😁😁
This was her last week alive... Powered by water and love she made it through the last 7 days
She is now chopped off and hung to dry with rh of 50ish and 21c.
I will post harvesting feedback and full review in couple of weeks.
At the moment I can say that she has small buds, some dense some less with purple coloring and some are green
Before diving into my review I wanted to mention that these seeds were sent to me by @james and in return I agreed to create this diary. The reviews are completely mine and I'm completely unbiased.
El Patron is 60/40 Sativa plant, Its a cross of AMG and Shiva. It grew relatively tall to 1.4M, developing small and dense green buds.

during vegetation the plant stretched and was very leafy with big empty parts throughout the stem. It also showed very thin branches.
right about the last week of veg, both of my plants had leaf hoppers. I spayed them down with an ecological pesticide and ever since then the plant never recuperated.
Once the plant hit flowering stage she continued to develop flowers and produce high amount of resin. the plant was very sticky and had to be handled with gloves.
the biggest mistake i have made in this grow was to place the plant under a very high light source that was pointed to other 2 plants. this plant got the least amount of light and was "looking for light"
I can't stress it enough, please provide the sufficient amount of lights for the plants in the grow room.

The plant was wet dried in the spare room with 50RH and 22C (I can't control this as the airco is running there)
the produce is now in a huge Miracle pot with 4 boveda packs. hopefully the RH will come back up to 60ish.

The flower feels more like a 80/20 Sativa as I'm very active, super attentive and hyper vigilant. once the high sets in the euphoric state kicks in, the body relaxes and I can focus on some gaming or late youtube. I would consider this a day smoke rather than an evening one.
The road of this plant has been a long one. but fear not when growing it. this was due to my home setup. moving forward, i had an additional grow space and the next grows will be even more successful than my others.
I cant stress it enough, invest in the right equipment.
@timbarin, your girl is generally okay. When you try to increase pH, goes slow.
Once you start to add things, pH keeps going for a while and it is difficult to put on the break.

I know El patron is a bit difficult to grow, not only she tries by any means to decide what shape she will grow into but also she is a fussy eater, as soon flowering cycle kicks in she shows some cal mag, and or stress signs, maybe it is because she uses most of her energy supply into those chunky Calyxes instead of leaves... Lol! 😁I am hoping so! Wishful thinking again?
I already grew El patron.
At first her buds looks lanky and small up to 5 weeks into flowering but after that they start to get bigger and bigger because she has big Calyxes!
Really like those strain who makes big Calyxes like girl scout cookies...
You did a good job at keeping her in check, now let's see her swell those Calyxes!

@Ferenc, trying my best to grow them. This limited space is a problem and I learn every day how difficult it is to grow in unmonitored environment.

La diferencia entre variedades es pequeña en EC crecimiento y también te recomiendo que compres un cal/mag
También echo en falta un producto tipo bud candy que me parece incluso igual de importante que el abono base o Bloom.Saludos y con estos consejos le ira mucho mejor . SALUDOS 💪
