Ethos OKC has germinated, and entered seedling stage. Chick Magnet seeds are running late int he post but will be added asap .... looking forward to this run!!

Transfered the plants into bigger pots that barely fit the small veg tent. Should have started them in these pots
Okc seems to be showing signs ofv ight burn so i have backed the light off to 25% and see how that goes.

this opened okc up a bit, so I figured I'd start some lst.

chick magnet is really dense and bushy. so i defoliated a fair bit on the inside to let some light in
got distracted and didn't tend to the plants for one evening and ended up with a few wind burned fan leaves on chick magnet....
I'll see how they are at the end of the week and might flip them to flower
plants seem very happy and much healthier than my first run.

day 5. noticed one of the top branches I broke during lst and taped has weakened. hope I don't loose the branch
the start of the week I opened the tent to see my girls wilting.

spotted a fungus gnat at the corner of my eye on chick magnet 😡. I'll pick up some yellow sticky cards when I'm in town tomorrow.

day 20, this i think is the last of the defoliating, they keep getting bushy and covering lower bud sites.
okc is starting to get sticky.
ditched the scrog, it was not really needed with the lst and defoliation.

day 25 some lower buds starting to frost on okc
I think i have given them too much water this week, particularly okc. she is showing signs.
day 35, no watering for 2 days and they look fine.
I'll start to water a little tomorrow, and be more careful.
day 35, did some light defoliation
day 37 added a little dolomite lime to raise the ph a little for okc.
she's looking a little yellow and the ph is lower than I wish.
day 39 watering less but still getting more yellow. might need recovery time from over water?
day 42 okc has low ph and nute lock out.
going to flush her and see if i can rebalance
lower yellow leaves to lime green leaves at the top. she got a little over watered i think and I started watering a little each 2 days.
the last photo is 10mins before lights out so has a more pronounced droop. there's leaf claw too, and ph is around 5.2
hey there BD, basically the plant should recover by itself when it follows the wet dry cycle, so during the dry part of the cycle the plant should already recover. If you're still seeing downward pointing leafs and leaf tips, then the overwatering caused some root issues, probably something like water mold on the roots. Sometimes this happens because the medium absorbs more water especially in the center of the pot, so if it never gets dry, you can get some bad bacteria and this will cause the symptoms you're seeing. To fix the roots, you need to add something like enzymes, h2O2 , beneficial bacterial or better : humic and fluvic acid. this will break down the problem roots and the plant should almost immediately recover. the end of week 7. feeling a bit down having ph issues with okc. a plant that seemed to have a great start.
both plants seem to have under developed trichomes. we have had weeks of rain, I'm wondering if the extended high humidity has hampered trichomes.
okc last night got back to a ph of 6.3 with a little baking soda and dolomite lime.
she isn't appearing to green back up yet ☹️
struggling to get the ph up for okc. she had a good flush then ph was great for a day and dropped again.
i have been adding dolomite lime and baking soda.
hoping she'll come good in these last weeks. her smell has reduced dramatically.
wtf ... day 52 and both plants have taken a dive. over night chick magnet has dry af curling up leaves
day 52 decided to give them a good flush because the ph was down to 5.1
day 53 they are looking pretty sad, the pots are still very heavy and wet. chick magnet has most of the pistils turning brown.
how quickly things can take a turn for the worse.
at this stage I'll just keep an eye on the trichomes and harvest when mostly cloudy
day 54, both plants bit looking too good. okc looks to be on her last legs
day 55 okc had to come down ...
one of my plants took a dramatic change with dry curling up leaves overnight.
yesterday I added some dolomite lime and a bit of baking soda to try and raise the ph. today the ph is measuring 5.2 ... so still low, but the plant is looking really bad. what to do next?
I have given both plants in the tent another flush 20 litres each and stuck a large fan in the tent to help dry the pots faster.
not sure what else I can do this late in flower
okc grown in organic living soil.
she grew very bushy and branchy from the start with small fan leaves.
early she seemed to have nitrogen toxicity.
by my own stupidity at attempting to make adjustments to the soil I ended up with overwatering and low ph issues.
in the end she needed to come down and was dying from the attempt to flush her and the soil was not drying out. I suspected this would happen as she was already over watered before the flush, but the ph was so low I felt I needed to do something.
harvest day her trichomes were about 40% cloudy.
not ideal all round, and im a bit gutted after 15 weeks to arrive here.
I'll up date after drying the buds which probably won't take long as they are half dry on the plant already.
she weighed in at 54g and now it's time for jarring
