Finally decided to get smart and add the germination date, so I know how old they are lol. Looking forward to this run and scrogging out some Blue Cheese from Dinafem!
Got her transplanted into 1gal fabric pots with roots organically soil. Leaves are a bit wilty after a few days. I’m going to get her dry out before watering again.
New growth is looking better. Still not sure what went wrong, but I’m suspecting something with the soil, as that is really the only difference in this run.
She’s looking pretty good! Beautiful dark green leaves! She responded well to the second round of topping. Another week or so in the 1 gal before I transplant to 7gal.
She’s still pretty yellow looking, but the new growth seems healthy enough. I upped the nutrients a bit, maybe she wants more nitrogen? Seems the pest issue is subsiding, so we shall see what happens in the next couple of weeks under the scrog screen.
She’s really come around into a healthy looking plant! I’ll either flip to flower tonight or give her another week under the scrog screen to fill out a bit.
Got the ladies under the screen after harvesting last weekend. They are going to need at least another week of veg before I make the flip. Looking and smelling great!
Time to defol! Tons of leaves and huge shooters. I will have to spend some time tonight removing any fan leaves blocking bud sites. This is going to take awhile!
Water only for a couple more weeks. Timing issues force me to let this grow go a bit longer than usual. But it looks like the buds are thanking me! Looking and smelling great!
I had to let her go a little longer than planned and then I decided to let her dry a little longer than usual. Sitting around 47%-51% humidity in the jars. Really really good smoke and a completely white ash thanks to flushing for 4 weeks!
grew some of this last year, saved it for new years eve... best smoke ive had in a while, even the mrs had a toke and she dont smoke! the smell is pukka, really mellow feeling, and a few giggles, made the mrs horny too!!!
My girlfriend told me to use this Emerald system as it's always given her great results and she ones 6 different harvests....the guy at the hydro store told me I shouldn't for blue cheese and wanted me to get a different, 3 steps easy system. Seeing how well it went for you I am glad I am sticking to Emerald. This will be my first grow so very nervous and sure it won't look as great as yours for my first grow but feeling a bit more confident in Emerald now. Looks great!
@MargaretElaine, thank you! I’m very pleased with the EH line. I like my alternate nute plan, as well. I kind of alternate during flower some runs. For me, the key was learning to veg longer. Like a lot longer. Then in flower, I go extra long until there’s no question that the flowers look ripe and ready to harvest. Good luck with your grow!
