Started out saturating the seeds in a 6.5PH water in a glass for 18H. Moved to paper towel and all Sensi Amnesia Auto and Afghan Pearl CBD had sprouted and was ready for plating within 30H. Double Kush Cake didn't sprout at all unfortunately.

Week 1 (had no image so I add the info here): 20 December I planted the sprouted seeds in 20l fabric pots with pre-watered Bio-Bizz All-Mix soil. Even though my sprouts where around 20mm and I planted them shallow with just soft soft soil over they didn't surface for over 4 days – I finally decided to "help" them by removing some of the soil and lower the light a bit on Christmas eve; and then they finally started to grow. After that they did stretch quite a bit in just a couple of days and got their first true leafs – but after that they did come to a bit of a stand-still. Week 2 Started out not happening too much. Tried to water every third day when the pots seemed to get a bit dry. Also added a floor fan to increase circulation – seem to have been a positive thing as their forth leafs came later the same day. Although they've all reached quite a bit making them scrawny – two of them fell over and two where starting to lean quite a bit so I added some support for them both. Also lowered the light In hope that the reach a bit less and grow some more leafs and sturdiness. Also introduced some nutrients in form of Bio-Bizz Bio-Grow. Still a 36h left of the week – we'll see where it ends.

It's been a good week so far. Kept giving them 1/ml/l Bio-Grow in PH 6.5 water – and they seem to enjoy it. They still feel small – although the middle one is starting to outgrow the other one; probably a good indication that my lamp is quit shitty and does not spread the light. Otherwise not much new stuff this week except that it started to have a faint smell. Next week I'm looking to install a fan to lower the humidity inside the tent as it's still quite high.

Much happened this week; I installed a new out-vent that significantly decreased the humidity in the tent that is down from 84% RH to around 55% RH. Another consequence of the new fan was a slight decease in heat so its down to around 18.5-19. I've heighten the lamp which seem to accelerate the 4 plats in the "corners". Although I still feel that the lamp I got is a bit crappy – so I'll be sending it back as soon as I receive a new Mars Hydro TSW 2000 that i've ordered.

I've tried out LST on my middle plant that is a bit larger that the others – first time doing this so it would be nice with some feedback from some veterans out there!

Next time don't tie down branches that will overlap new growth shoots, tie them so all new little growth shoots will be exposed to light and they will grow to be full sized cola. The main stem currently shades one of the small shoots completely thus reducing the light exposure to the plant and reducing the amount of growth points you'll have! Other than that amazing job on the LST!! seems like it was done in a very precise and gentle manner as it should be! Good luck and happy growing :)

Upgraded my lights yesterday – felt like a huge improvement! One of the positive effects was the increase in temperature; from around 17-18°C to 22.5°. I could also clearly see the difference in the amount and temperature of the light. Continued with LST to increase light penetration to the lower parts of the plats. Will do an additional update later this week! ------ Update Added a bunch of nutes at low level just to make sure that there's no deficiencies. Changed the watering schedule to around every fourth day and making sure that the soil is bone-dry a whole finger deep. I also heighten the light a little bit. Seem to be thriving now as the did have quite the growth sprut.

My 2 Afghan Pearls are seam to be suffering from either deficiency or over overfertilization; I can clearly see brighter spots on their leafs that I don't have on any of the amnesias. They all have identical conditions – same soil, same, nutes, same tent, same all! Any clues?

Hey Mate, Difficult, but I wiuld go for too much nutes. The BioBizz soil is ammended for about 6 weeks? I wouldn't give any nutes until the six weeks would be over or the plant demands it, just beneficials like Humic Acid or Enzymes.. Also I would have a look at the intensity of your light. Your light is strong and 55cm would be too close with my lamps. Good luck and happy trails for the rest of the way 🤞 Servus OimRausch

(See previous question as well) The girls are getting worse 😬 Only the bottom leaves seem to be impacted though. Only thing I've done today is water them (three day since last and they were dry). Any suggestion to what might be wrong with them?

Hi !

Pretty much just left the girls to hangout by themself. Watered them for the first time in 4 days and added the same mix of nutes as last week (except for the CalMag) as I did see quite the growth spurt. Will keep the slower watering schedule and make sure that the soil is bone-dry a finger deep. Hope they keep growing nicely this week – fingers crossed! ––––––––––– Update I obviously overfeed the girls 😬 But you know what – I really do appreciate that I learn something about growing every singel week. This is still my first grow every and I'm probably a bit overexcited. Although I do see every wrong I do as an opportunity to learn and get better. 💪 So, what I've done, as it didn't seem to be to sever, was to wait until they dried out and just gave them pure tap water (at 110 PPM) and will keep doing this until I see that they're back in business. I'm also very excited over the fact that the flowering seem to have started 😍 So I'm cranking up the lamp from 75% to 100% and keep an eye out so they do not get any burns. So we'll see what will happen in the next few days – I have invested in a net and was thinking about going ScrOG for the blooming stage. Not sure yet though – will probably ask for some feedback.

As I noticed indications of overfeeding last week I started out just giving the girls water in the beginning of this week. Although as flowering had started I also started to notice some deficiencies – mainly what looked as nitrogen deficiency hence the slightly higher amount of fish-mix. Over all it does look as they're thriving – growing around 5cm/2" in the last 3-4 days and seem quite happy. After input from this lovely community I chose not to proceed with ScrOG and just go au naturel for this grow – maybe try out some defoliation on one or two of the plats just to see what impact it would have. One interesting development is that the #3 Amnesia that is sitting next to the incoming air has a different appearance and has surpassed its siblings growth-wise even though #1 should be getting way more light as the center plant. It also seem to be less bushy. I'm not sure if it has to do with the incoming air or the fact that it's closer to the top fan. Either way i'll keep a close eye on how it progresses. Otherwise I feel quite happy right now whit where I'm at; just waiting for the next curveball to hit 😅 ---------- Update 6/2 Keep on growing – although still some yellow leaves indicating what I believe to be nitrogen deficiency – so I upped the fish-mix hoping that the yellowing goes away. Aside from that the girls are growing strong! 18cm/7" in a week for the largest one. Now ranging from 35-46cm/14-18".

It's been a couple of interesting days – and as expected yet another curveball! 😅 The last week and a half's growth spurt (23cm / 9") seem to have resulted in both cal and mag deficiencies – and as we have pretty hard water here I though that it would be fine without supplements. But that doesn't seem to be the case here – so in todays feeding I gave the girls a boost of CalMag hoping that will resolve the problem. The stems have gotten quite thick and sturdy over the last couple of weeks – and the height difference between the plants has also become more prominent; 51cm/20" vs. 36cm/14.2". First I just though it had something to do with the different strains as Sensi Seed says that the Afghan will be smaller than the Amnesia. But then I noticed that it rater seem as the plats to the right in the tent are higher (looks like they're stretching) while the plats to the left seems to be shorter and more bushy; and the thing is that that are plats from both strains om each side. Girls to the right = Amnesia #3 & Afghan #2 Girls to the left = Afghan #1 & Amnesia #2 So I started to think of what might be the difference between the left and the right; - The lamp is centered so there's no difference (although the taller ones now are closer to the light of course). - The fans are on a diagonal so if they where the main source for the inconsistency it should look different. - They're all have gotten identical feeding, soil, germination etc. - The only real difference between the both sides are that the right side (where the plats are stretching hence taller) is where I have the have the incoming went – and the intake is passive and generated by the pressure of the outlet fan/extractor. So this makes me wonder if it might have something to do with the plats to the right are geting more CO or more more humidity (65-70% outside the tent – 40-50% inside) – but then again I do have to fans that do create a lot of circulation for such a small tent. So I'm not certain of what the difference is – but I have ordered a couple of CO-bags to se if this has any impact. Do you have any thoughts on what it might be? Please drop a line or two! --------------------- There's really something new every week – it keeps me on my toes and I keep on learning new stuff. It's still early this week so we will see what happens next; I'll probably do an update in the end of the week. Wanna bet that something's new come up until then? 😜 --------------------- UPDATE 12/2 So I started to see signs of different deficiencies on the same strain that had the same treatment – and I couldn't first figure out what was wrong,. But today I noticed that they also showed singed of being to dry – so I watered them and focused on macro nutes; that's when I noticed that the soil had gotten so dry that the new water was just running on the surface, down on the sides and out of the fabric pots; so they have probably not gotten as much water and nutes as they should for the past couple of weeks. So today I watered them in small portions several time to make sure that the soil absorbed the water and nutes. I'll keep a close eye during the weekend to make sure that they recover.

I keep having some difficulties with the girls – I've lost a lot of leaves, especially on the Amnesias (they were all effected worse than the Afghans). Mostly due to the deficiencies from the last week when the soil didn't absorb the water I gave them. Based on the difference in growth that I mentioned last week I did chose to add a CO2 bag to the tent; although I don't have clue if it actually does anything. To be frank I do feel as I'm in a bad place right now; the growth curve has decreased significantly; from 23 cm over 10 days in week 6-7 it now only has grown 7 cm in as many days. Not sure what will happen in the next few days – hopefully I'll see a new growth spurt indicating that we're back on track; but unfortunately I do believe that it's more likely that they won't fully recover and keep growing slow resulting in airy buds and low yield. Only time will tell..... --------- UPDATE 21/2 Feels better a few days down – stil having some issues with what seems to be both deficiencies and nutrition burn at the same time. So I decided to do a quite heavy defoliation to remove all the bad leaves; hopefully the flowers will continue to thicken up. Will start next week with a flush to get rid of the abundance that seem to cause the nut burn.

Started the week with a flush – PH neutral water without nuts; as they seemed to have a bit of a nut burn. I've almost started to believe that there's a difference between the amnesia strains as #3 has developed a purple hue in the flowers that none of her two sisters has. I hope that the heavy defoliation of last week won't stun the flowering! The #1 Afghan if still the shortest – but her cola is getting really thick as f**k; high hopes for her! –––––––––––––––––––– UPDATE 26/2 More defoliation. Some water with nuts this time as the Afghans went very yellow after the initial flush of the week. Growth has pretty much been at a standstill during the week. Took a bunch of photos outside the tent – have to say that the colas on the Afghan does look rather sweet!

Started the week with some feeding – added back some fish-mix as the Afghani girls seemed to have some Nitro deficiency. Also went with some slightly higher PH – or rather didn't lower it to neutral as per usual. The Afghani girls also look to be ready for harvest soon; so I just ordered a pocket microscope so I can have a closer inspection of the trichomes. Maybe time to start flushing those girls? The Amnesias seem to around 1-2 weeks behind. Thinking of maybe starting to germinate a few ned seeds; I've learnt so much from this run so I'm eager to se how the second run might turn out!

It's here – harvest week 😎 I started to flush the girls in the middle of last week. Also received my 60x pocket microscope 3/8 and could see that the Afghans where ready to roll with around 5-10% amber trichomes and the Amnesia was around 50-70% cloudy. Been keep taking off dried leaves every other day. Looking forward to harvest and also the next grow (already started the seeding 😊)
