Day 37 gave everyone a good watering again last night. They were pretty good in the morning and then it was like they knew a watering was coming and drank themselves dry. Keeping my eye out on my Pineapple Chunk with rust like spots appearing on some leaves. Thought it might be Cal/Mag issue but could also be rust mold because of its mutant characteristics and being as bushy as it is. Spread my limbs across the pot in hopes of better moisture control. The Dr is coming along nicely too and I’m confident that after week 9, we will be into flowering mode.
Hey grobro,
Got my Dr. beans yesterday at noon. In paper now with a 1/8 inch taproot. Gonna plant tomorrow and start my diary as well.
Any advice on this strain?
Did you have a diary for the first grow. What nutes did you use?...ppm & Ph??
Cheers and gonna follow your grow too.
GC
@GeorgeCloney, never did ppm or ph for my grows. First grow I started with Advance Nutrients before switching to Mega Crop (which I’ve used ever since) She stretches in flowering, but trained properly, produced nice big fat colas. My first grow here growdiaries.com/diaries/36030-dr-seedsman-cbd-by-seedsman
Dude, I feel for your loss, how sad. I hope he didn't suffer.
We live in such troubled times and everyone is looking for staff.
Chin up, I'm convinced a job is wIting for you ( take the time to choose ;-)
The tent distraction.
I read your words and thought I was talking to meself lmao.
Very nice grow btw.
My Dr.seedsman are half the size yours are ( stunted by calcium def.coco at seedling).
Cheers
GC
And, you're growing with MC as well..lol
This should be really interesting.
Planted my seeds in solos, and on a heat mat in a germination tray with a dome.
I'm also growing 2 pink kush 30:1 to make seeds as well.
Don't mean to hijack your grow.
Just happy and excited to see/meet someone with the same beans at the same stage with the same nutes.
Life is full of surprises.
Cheers,
Very nice grow so far.
Go easy with the bud explosion.
I've found it to cause a change in the ph while mixing, and this leads to calcium def'c.
Explaining your yellow leaves.
I think yours are normal.
I have 3 on the go.
2 in dwc and 1 in coco.
The coco is about 36" tall.
1 in dwc is about 24" and the other is 40+"
@GeorgeCloney, I do 2 small pinches between my fingers for each watering. All nutes go into one can and then I come back water them with plain water afterwards. I am going to add some cal/mag to the feed to see if that helps, and maybe some epsom salt too
I forgot to mention.
MC is realy tough to feed going into flower.
I've found it very common for plants to have a nitrogen and calcium def'c using MC.
Add a little calmag or up your feed before the spotting gets worst.
Listen to your plants.
