Day 43 so this is it, the final week of veg. I have gone and trimmed up both Creamsicle and Dr. Seedsman today and seem to be responding nicely. Creamsicle I’m still worried on with her purple limbs and droopy/discoloured leaves. Plus I keep finding rust like leaves on Pineapple Chunk and now some on Lemonchello Haze, but nothing rubbing off on my fingers. So I don’t think it’s a fungus but maybe a cal/mag issue and doesn’t get the circulation of air like some others in this bigger tent. I might need to add a 2nd fan again when flowering starts. So I also did a watering for everyone today. Some needed it more than others but will probably water again in 2 days. At the moment I have a bit more time to maintain them because I was let go from my job a few days back too, which also marked 5 years since I lost my dad to cancer. So I love my tent of distraction at the moment
Day 45 and a few items to note. I swapped a few plants positions in the tent. Moved Creamsicle to the top right corner where Pineapple Chunk was, PC went where Lemon Amnesia was and moved her to wear Creamsicle’s old spot was. She was getting taller and thought light arrangement wise, was best back with the taller plants under the MarsHydro light. Plus I gave everyone another good watering tonight
Day 49 nice little response from all on last nights watering. Still seeing some brown spots here and there on some leaves but overall nothing worse then it was before, even a slight bit healthier looking. Not picture but I tried my best to rest a SCROG netting overtop everyone in the tent. Just bought some bungee cords to help keep it even along the sides, as tomorrow we start our flowering cycle people. Already switched my Infinity Board lighting to all far/deep red colour and no more blue. Can’t wait to see what my new lights do with these gals over the coming weeks.
Hey grobro,
Got my Dr. beans yesterday at noon. In paper now with a 1/8 inch taproot. Gonna plant tomorrow and start my diary as well.
Any advice on this strain?
Did you have a diary for the first grow. What nutes did you use?...ppm & Ph??
Cheers and gonna follow your grow too.
GC
@GeorgeCloney, never did ppm or ph for my grows. First grow I started with Advance Nutrients before switching to Mega Crop (which I’ve used ever since) She stretches in flowering, but trained properly, produced nice big fat colas. My first grow here growdiaries.com/diaries/36030-dr-seedsman-cbd-by-seedsman
Dude, I feel for your loss, how sad. I hope he didn't suffer.
We live in such troubled times and everyone is looking for staff.
Chin up, I'm convinced a job is wIting for you ( take the time to choose ;-)
The tent distraction.
I read your words and thought I was talking to meself lmao.
Very nice grow btw.
My Dr.seedsman are half the size yours are ( stunted by calcium def.coco at seedling).
Cheers
GC
And, you're growing with MC as well..lol
This should be really interesting.
Planted my seeds in solos, and on a heat mat in a germination tray with a dome.
I'm also growing 2 pink kush 30:1 to make seeds as well.
Don't mean to hijack your grow.
Just happy and excited to see/meet someone with the same beans at the same stage with the same nutes.
Life is full of surprises.
Cheers,
Very nice grow so far.
Go easy with the bud explosion.
I've found it to cause a change in the ph while mixing, and this leads to calcium def'c.
Explaining your yellow leaves.
I think yours are normal.
I have 3 on the go.
2 in dwc and 1 in coco.
The coco is about 36" tall.
1 in dwc is about 24" and the other is 40+"
@GeorgeCloney, I do 2 small pinches between my fingers for each watering. All nutes go into one can and then I come back water them with plain water afterwards. I am going to add some cal/mag to the feed to see if that helps, and maybe some epsom salt too
I forgot to mention.
MC is realy tough to feed going into flower.
I've found it very common for plants to have a nitrogen and calcium def'c using MC.
Add a little calmag or up your feed before the spotting gets worst.
Listen to your plants.
