It's 10/10 seeds, can't change the germination value for some reason? 🤔
I use two methods for germination, first I reconstitute the seeds internal moisture by a long soak (10-16 hours) then I transfer them to the paper towel till taproot shows :)
Hello my friends here's my first run of White Widow (not feminized) from Dutch Passion (not sponsored). I'm personally very pumped since this is my favorite strain to date! But it's been 9 years years since I had White Widow that sated my appetite, so this is a big deal for me if I find a phenotype that's reminiscent of what I love about this strain. Okay enough talking about the past let's jump into the Weekly Comment!
WEEK ONE
ο Spring Water
ο Clonex Rooting Solution
ο Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil
First things first mates, the germination rate is 100%! I soaked the beans in water for 14 hours then spread em out on the paper towel. After I saw all the taproots they went strait into Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil! Though it seems that there's one that's behind all the others, we'll see how this pans out but I may toss her if she doesn't catch up.
Hello it's another week of Passion of the Widow! Like I suspected there are 3/10 seedlings that are expressing mutations and or stunted. So I'll be getting rid of the runts (ww 8 and ww3) since I'm looking for a breeding pair I don't want stunted or mutants for the process. The girls are looking good, though I'm getting early pest problems which I just sprayed for earlier (:
First always check ph of soil to make sure it is in range. Looks like magnesium deficiency starting. Ph being off could be cause. Check runoff ph to know. Good luck and happy growing 🌲🌲🌲👊
WEEKLY UPDATE
Hello my friends I transplanted these guys n gals mid last week and a few are looking great reaching for the stars! But about 3 look a bit worse for wear, I suspect they might need more nutrients than others. I’ll wait a week just to make sure it’s not transplant shock or over watering.
I’ll list the height and node density details below for each plant in numerical order.

~ Weekly Update ~
Hello there, It's been an interesting week. Good and bad so I'll start with the bad. About half of the plants are showing brown spots and patches on them. Everyone has the same ph, nutes, and freshly transplanted about two weeks ago. So I'm a bit confused since it looks like a cal-mag deficiency. I'll pop up a grow question for some extra eyes on the issue, I'd appreciate the advice :) As for the good news, the other half are growing very fast and look nice and bushy! One smells like soap which I named it BBB (Bed Bath & Beyond) as more of a joke, not a real name. I have high hopes for this run of widows, I want a strong male and good female for breeding next time. I miss the white widow from about 10 years ago, so I'm planning to cross the closest ones I find that match the genotype/phenotype I'm searching for. Well anyways thank you for stopping by!!
Much love Meus ♥️

~ Update ~
This week has been a good week for the most part. The plants look better, except for a couple which still are experiencing leaf discoloration. I am giving a bit more cal mag to see if that solves the issue on hand. Other than that 5/8 plants are reaching up, nice stretching leaves and no leaf issues :)
I do wonder about the 3 plants that show the brown splotches on them, I'm feeding the same to everything else with no issues so I'm a bit confused. Well I'll learn either way, I do hope to resolve this little problem asap so none of my little ones get stunted.
That's about it. I'm very happy with their shape and structure so far! Bushy and full little monsters, I wonder what they'll look like after another 9 weeks of veg?
Thanks for stopping by :)
I'll post stats on nodes per inch and individual height by tomorrow!
Much love and stay safe out there!! <3
Meus :)
