⭕17.01.2021:
Good morning! I start this new diary with joy.
Very curious to see what comes out of this "Alaskan"🏔️.
This week I started, as you see, by putting the seeds in water for about 12 hours (until they fall to the bottom) and then I put the paper towels until the taproot appears. Subsequently I stabilized at pH 5.7 / ec0.6 some 4x4cm rock wool cubes in which I carefully placed the germinated seeds (5 out of 6). They are emerging today.
22.01.2021:
Hello everyone! this will be a fairly mixed BOX, 9 plants with SOG method with short vegetative (20-25 days, let's see).
4 of the rockwall with the ALK were transplanted into 0.5 liter pots with Canna pro coco and perlite.
While the fifth I will keep in a separate small cabinet with a very simple dwc system consisting of a black plastic tank and a €3 china aquarium pump, I have used it in the past and it works well, the idea is to peck a good plant mother alaska :).
24.01.2021:
They run fast! The roots already come out of the pot, tomorrow I bury in the final 11L. ALK # 4 was born a little deformed but I trust in her it can still be fine.
this week i have problems with my little ones, only the 2 runtz are fine.
same solution nothing different, just genetics.
do you think I have to add calmag? I suspect a calcium deficiency
Hi everyone! unfortunately due to my work I was unable to follow this diaries week by week as it should.
However I want to share some current photos, at the moment 60th day in the large box (1x1x2mt), and in the smaller box (80x80x160) The BigOne Alaskan Tunderfuck plant with about 80 vegetative days and 3 from 12/12 switch
We are close to the harvest!
-The Greenhouse Wonder pie (this is a seed obtained by self-pollination) is covered with resin, from the beginning of flowering, very early compared to the others, and will be the first to be harvested.
-The 2 Runtz are spectacular, the largest will have the main production of the entire Box.
-There are 4 Alaskan Tunderfuck left, so far I can say that the genetics do not seem particularly stable to me, 3 different phenotypes, 1foxtailing on the whole plant, 2 specimens are still in full bloom with short and very wide buds, and the fourth seems to have a beautiful bud and dense and ready to be harvested.
Alaskan Tunderfuck very sensitive to acid PH, unlike Runtz which also seems to grow in lava !
The first to be collected, (and also sacrificed in early tastings) an INCREDIBLE resin, the nose is very reminiscent of rubber, not one of my favorite perfumes, but when smoked it fills the mouth with flavor. very good.
These were self-pollinated seeds from a previous wonder cake, out of 3 seeds 2 were male, this specimen showed upright growth with no side branches, fast flowering and rare resin.
All 4 specimens that I have kept are different from each other, at least in growth. 2 have matured earlier, while 2 others have yet to finish and it seems that enough is missing.
A good resin overall, not particularly "thick and dense".
Bud of good density, except in the foxtail phenotype.
smoke report better when well dried and cured.
The second time i grow runtz, changed my mind, this plant is a monster if you give it the right space, it needs a lot of space in height as it stretches its branches a lot, which I didn't like the first time around.
Of these 2 specimens, one had the blessing of mother nature from birth, an exceptional sprint led me to really big and dense flowers. harvested at 99 days from seed.
count of GR collected just dried, also smoke report soon of course.
