I plan to put one seed in a glass of sterile water and one seed in tissue culture.
The seedling that I started in H20 opened up, sprouted, and then broke. A bacteria caused the root to break, I tried to use tissue culture to bring it back. I washed it in bleach water, rinsed it in distilled water, put the tap root in rooting hormone and placed it in Agar in the test tube. Three days later I found mold on it.
The seedling that I started in the Agar seems to be healthy and strong. It is on its second set of true leaves.
I fed PJ Calipro A and B. My soil started out soaked, I ended up having to break it up to add some airflow into it. I have giving a small amount of water with the calipro nutrients.
Things are progressing, I am taking the training a little slow, just as a precaution. I planted the clipping after having it in distilled water for a few days. No real plan for it, just want to see if it will work.
This was an interesting week. I had been using clips to train the plant, and I honestly was not very happy with them. They are sharp, and too flexible for the plants. PJ was looking a little droopy on Sunday, after a good feeding that day, and some water this morning it is looking much better.
