Critical Purple Autos.. My 3rd Grow

Gewroo So far, so good. One plant is growing noticeably faster than the other.. Not sure why. Too early to know anything I suppose. Healthy and thriving though. Watering is scarcely needed right now.. Soil is plenty moist.

Gewroo It looks like one seedling is not going to make it. :( No idea what happened as both plants received identical treatment. I'm starting to second guess myself about re-using the soil from my last grow.. Is this a no-no? The soil hardly needs any water..it's a tiny seedling in a 7 gallon pot. The soil seems a little spongy and smells like...dirt. I can see little green specs in the soil... old roots? I'll just keep going and see where it leads me.

Gewroo Plant #2 is done for. I picked the seedling (or what was left of it) out of the soil and it looks like the tap root never developed into regular roots. It's just a dead seedling with a short straight root. I dunno. Plant #1 doing well. I can see I'll be chasing humidity again this winter. Using just under a gallon of distilled water per day in humidifier to keep humidity up at 50%. All vents in tent are closed, vent exhaust fan on lowest setting.

Gewroo Looking good. Trying to decide whether or not I want to FIM this lady.. This plant has very wide leaves and it looks like it will be short and bushy.

Gewroo Growing fast now.. No real issues. This may be first week of flower...I do notice Pistils forming with stigma. I still want to try FIMing but don't have the courage to do it to my only plant. I think I would have done it had the other survived. Oh well..

Gewroo Growing fast. 7" this week. So far, I have not vented the tent at all. I'm running vent fan but no air vents open. The idea is to keep the humidity in check because this house is dry in the Winter from the gas heat. The little humidifier I have in the tent works great but with vents open, it's a challenge to keep humidity stable. I expect I'll have to at some point (perhaps when the plant starts creating its own humidity?) Am I limiting my yield because of lack of CO2?

Gewroo Looking good. Had a growth spurt last week.. This week it seems to be concentrating on filling out more. No problems to report.

Gewroo Growing slowly but surely. This plant seems to be a runt. It's small but otherwise appears to be healthy. I'm just going with it. At this point I am starting to prune fan leaves as they become conspicuously shade for the the rest of plant. I've also noticed a very few fungus gnats around and have installed a sticky trap. I don't think its a problem.

Gewroo Looks good but small plant. No growth to speak of but bud development is looking good. I think it's just going to be low yield. This plus the loss of a sibling seedling, makes me question the genetics of this strain from GC. I'm trimming more now.. I loped off a few more fan leaves yesterday. Not sure when to get aggressive with the trimming.

Gewroo Still plugging along. This plant is small. I really don't expect a good yield but at least the buds look really good so far. I'm trying to watch really close and not let these go too long before chopping like my last plants.. I let them go too long and dried them too long. My take on this today is that I'm one to two weeks from harvest. I just need some amber in the trichomes. It's using so little water that from this point on, I'll be feeding straight water...flushing.

Gewroo I don't think this is quite ready yet. I don't see any amber in trichomes. Nice and milky though. Has to be close. I flushed all week with ph water w/calmag..no nutes. I'm ready whenever it is. Buds look really nice but plant is a runt. Anyone reading have an idea on how close to harvest? I'm thinking 5-6 more days.

Gewroo I germinated two seeds successfully and planted in two 7 gallon pots. One did not not take root and died. The other (this one) developed normally but was a very small plant (runt). However, It did produce pretty good with minimal larf and trim. No other issues really. I really don't know why the first didn't take root. This grow was otherwise painless. I had some dreaded fungus gnats show up but not significant infestation. No PM or other issues. Watering was kind of slow but it was only one small plant in a big pot.
