Day 13;
I'm waiting for a few days until she's ready to be topped. She should be ready in no more than 3 days. She's growing as expected and she has a healthy look.
Day 16;
She was finally big enough to get topped. I topped her above the 4th node.
Day 19;
She is really hard to LST. Her side branches get really thick and massive and she grows short so far.
Day 20;
Still hard to LST. I bend her branches a little bit...
This girl started to flower at day 23. She is very stocky and sturdy. I have done some training to her this week and she hated it! I think all her branches have snapped. She doesn't care and just keep on growing, no matter if her limbs are falling off. Training went well at first and I placed some clips. After a couple of days I noticed her branches had snapped inside the clips. When I tried to train the 2 main tops apart lightly, both branches broke.
She is extremely bushy and needs a bit of defoliation. Her fan leaves grow massive.
This girl flowers slowly, but she grows like a truck. She's very strong and pushes the other girls aside. Her foliage is very covering and she needs to be plucked a lot. It seems she'll give me massive buds in the end.
Her slow flowering forced me to install a second feeding system just for her. To make sure she she gets the right juice to grow...
This girl is growing like a rocket! She's pushing her tent sisters aside big time and I've had to tie her into a corner. She might outgrow my tent...She takes forever to flower and she grows all the time. I gave her a good defoliation today and will keep that up.
She keeps growing like crazy and her flowers don't look much more like flowers than they did 3 weeks ago. I've had to strap her tightly to one side or she would just cast a great shadow over the other two girls in the tent.
This crazy girl doesn't stop growing. Her flowering doesn't take off either. She is now taller than my tent can handle. I'll let her grow next to the light. I can give the space in the tent for another 5-6 weeks, but after that I have to pull her out...
So, this girl seems like she won't be finishing in a 18/6 schedule. Due to space limitations I will have to remove her from the tent soon. SHe'll get a good position in my living room by the window...
I had to take her out of the tent. Other plants need the space. I'll let her sit in my living room for as long as I can. I'm still hoping she'll produce some flowers...
It seems she has started to make some buds. We'll see how the buds will like the window view. Hopefully they won't be too unhappy there. She gives pretty good shading against the afternoon sun.
Yeay - the tree is filling up with flowers! There's plenty of bud sites on this lady now when buds are building all over. It will be very interesting to see how these buds will develop in the coming weeks...
She's producing beautiful buds all over, but of course those closest to the window are getting bigger. I'm really happy to have this beautiful lady in my house.
Beautiful buds all over are forming. I also see some good trichome production. I have done a lot of defoliating and basically removed all leaves that were pressed against the window and also those that block bud site. She's starting to develop a very nice smell.
This large monster is adding some weight to her buds. Some branches are getting heavy and start to sag. She would probably tip over unless she was leaning agains the window. All her weight is to one side of the plant only. Her buds close to the window are getting surprisingly fat. They are sticky and smell really good.
This tree I now have in my living room is producing some surprisingly large buds. She's starting to have some gravitational problems and her branches get heavier and heavier. She's getting a really good smell.
I didn't realise I'd taken so many photos, but every day I see her I get amazed at how much buds she carries. She's a proper tree. The other day I saw a bird hovering in front of the window looking longingly at the green tree on the other side of the glass. Her smell keeps getting better. I might harvest the buds nearest the window first and let the inner buds get some more time to mature. We'll see...
This big mama delivers! Her buds swell up all over the place, and they are full of trichomes and have a beautiful smell. I'm giving her seedling strength nute mix, and she loves it.
I moved her closer to the window and moved her branches that were hanging down from over weight up against the window the help them not face the floor.
She's getting heavier and heavier. I do, however, see signs of foxtailing. I don't want her to hermie on me, so I'll stop feeding her now. Unfortunately I have to move out of the house this months, and this girl has to come down before then. I'll have to move her chopped up and undried in I think...That house move could get smelly as I have another 3 plants that will be drying sa well as this one. I think I need to set my tent up with a filter for drying before I move the buds.
This big lady is slowly finishing. Her buds are now of decent size and they're quite dense but not rock hard. The buds smell nice, but not so strong. I've probably got used to the smell though...
Some of her branches are a bit too heavy now, and the colas are hanging upside down. I've stopped feeding her, and we'll see when she goes down....
She's got some proper buds now, even though most of them are hanging upside down.
I noticed she had spider mites during the week, and I sprayed her two days in a row since I could still see them the day after the first spraying. Now they're gone thankfully, but I will be forced to do a bud wash to make sure the spraying won't leave any taste and smell. After she got sprayed she got heavy and I had buds on the floor and I had to tie her branches up a bit.
She can only live for another week longer, then she has to come down since I have to move out of the apartment. So, ready or not - chop chop!
So, she finally went down on day 172. An old big lady! She was too big to dry whole the way I usually do, so I was forced to do it trimmed in pieces. I'll have to do jar curing instead. It's not as good, but it'll do. She's got a nice lemony smell that is not very strong but good. She is sticky, but not as sticky as my plants normally get. Probably because of the low light conditions. Anyway, she produced a very impressive yield, what you see on the drying rack plus an additional 5th that I gave to a friend.
So, this girl had a special life. When she was vegging she was unbelievably strong. She broke clips and limbs when I tried to train her.
Then she wouldn't flower, and I had to take her out of the tent. I placed her next to a large window and she loved it! She started to flower and she grew big in my living room - very big! I have enjoyed growing her a lot.
