Rotated Plants
Seedlings reacted very well to 420 PPFD. I turned the light up to 500PPFD on day 8. I plan to keep it at this setting till week 3 is over.
Seedlings also reacted well to 40% strength BigBloom. Raising amount to 50%
Maintaining 70% RH
Turned the fan speed to setting 2/10 and it dropped my temp 4 degrees right to the sweet spot while maintaining RH - Fuck yeah
Admission of guilt - I got antsy on day 3 and planted 3 more seeds in Solo Cups using Miracle Grow Seedling Mix. Direct soil method.
These seeds caught up to my 3-Gallon cloth pots with FoxFarm Ocean Forest in them.... Shit...
-Day 8 I also transplanted the late seed into solid 1 Gallon pots using 100% Miracle Grow Seedling Mix. We shall see.
-Day 9 FFOC is falling farther and farther behind. The MGrow plants are growing even tho I just transplanted them. Very healthy. I don't feel it a totally fair comparison, seeing how they are in different pots. Cloth vs Solid planters. I also now believe I was under watering the cloth pots. The bottom of my containers was a desert. I don't see how or why a tap root could grow in that. So! I did my first full watering of the FFOC cloth pots today. If they don't pick up I am considering transplant to new FFOC soil in solid pots.
-Day 10 Most of the plants are healthy. I gave the plants their first full seedling dose of BigBloom at 15ml/Gallon (1 TBSP/ Gallon). I have one plant that is far behind and yellowing. It was not watered one night (My wife told me not to overwater!) It was laying on its side when I got home. I watered and it perked right back up however I believe it was fatal. oopss
-Day 13 I yanked the small plant. It stopped growing.
-Day 14 All plants are thriving and growing daily. I turned the light up one setting and lowered the light 1". Unsure of PPFD atm
After starting to feed Nutrients the plants have turned a healthier green and are much happier. I plan to use the same amount next feed. They are starting to smell.
