She’s growing nicely, although I’m having a hard time keeping her humidity up..

Transplanted the seedling bag into a 2 gallon equivalent Airpot with Nectar for the Gods #4 soil mix. Top dressed with WormCycle local worm castings and Malibu Bio-Dynamic Compost. WormCycle is based in Plymouth, MI and their castings are some of the best I’ve ever seen. The base of the feed is horse manure with a high wood chip content which supports beneficial fungi growth. The mix was also tested by Michigan State University for quality. Almost every scoop has worms in all life cycles; cocoons, baby wigglers and full grown adults. I have found many other beneficial soil dwelling creatures in this mix as well! If you’re based in Michigan running no-till and full organic I highly recommend giving these castings a shot! I’m currently feeding with plain spring water that’s around 150ppm and also spritzing the canopy with spring water mixed with Agsil16h (potassium silicate).

So far I’m pretty satisfied with how she’s growing. It was my first time using one of the seedling bags so I didn’t know what to expect. I believe these bags may be one of the least invasive ways to start and transplant autos without going directly in the pot. This would probably make more sense with a 5gallon over a 2+ gal Air Pot but I thought it would be smart to test it on a freebie. The top soil has been drying out too quickly for a plant in this stage so I decided to mulch with a little bit of barley straw. This is my first time using an Air Pot and it seems to be working just fine. One thing about the pots that I’m fond of is that there is a gap between the bottom of the pot and where it’s base is. This allows air to circulate under the pot which helps prevent pooling and fungus gnat larvae infestations. So far there are a ton of roots coming out of the bottom so she could start to beef up and stretch very soon!

So far I’m loving that this auto strain has a long vegetative period! She’s looking very healthy for now and continues to grow like a weed every day. A nice scent is already developing which is always a good sign during veg!

This Seedsman Lemon Auto just keeps growing and stretching. With this long of a vegetative period she should be a pretty big girl! I think I may have one week left of veg before she starts kicking into flower. I’ll ease into the flowering nutrients probably a week after they switch.

This Auto Lemon is finally in the late veg/pre flower stage. I gave her largest feed yet with around 2l of a light compost tea with added Tribus Bloom Microbes. The tea was around 250ppm and had added calcium due to some spots I was seeing pop up. Underestimated how fast these airpots dry out with my homes current humidity (30%). I almost have to water this one every other day with around 2l of water. I let her dry out after her largest watering yet and she started to show signs of stress, gave her around 3l of water and she is starting to peel back up.

She’s still growing great but she isn’t getting the lateral stretch that I had hoped for. Maybe she will keep doing her thing but if she stops growing now then the yield will surely suffer!

This lemon auto is starting to develop some nice terpenes and frost! I was hoping for more stretch but it seems like she’s focusing her energy on bulking up instead. The leaves have stayed green and healthy since the last feed so I’ve stuck with plain water and teas for this week, nothing too exciting. Defoliated a decent amount of leaves trapped under the canopy. They were starting to die off due to no receiving sunlight and probably not getting enough circulation. She’s starting to develop some funky spots on her leaves that don’t seem to resemble any deficiency I’ve ever seen. It could maybe b her genetics but we’ll see as time goes on.

She faded pretty hard in one week, let’s see how much longer until she’s finished... proper update later on throughout the week with some changes.

This Lemon Auto has really packed on some weight in just a week. Now she’s starting to beef up and her smell is starting to become nice and ripe. I hope she continues to pack on the weight! I’m thinking 2-3 weeks left on this one! From here on I will probably just finish off with microbe teas and spring water!

This Lemon Auto from Seedsman is really starting to darken up! Her leaves turned from almost a light green to a dark green to a purplish/black color. It’s really nice to look at and it gets darker by the day! Her buds are getting nice and plump and the frost keeps building! I increased airflow to the lower canopy because she was getting so dense and packed I was afraid mold would form. I pinched a couple small nugs and they were hard as a rock so I’m hoping they retain that density after she’s chopped and dried! I’m hoping to cut her down either by next week or a little after. I’ll keep checking on trichs and pistils until then!

This Lemon Auto is finally coming to an end! She is smelling very pungent and I can tell that she is at her peak. She smells just like lemon and a ton of skunk, just as I would suspect for a haze strain. Hopefully the smoke is just as good as the smell!

Not my favorite strain... She smelt amazing while growing but after curing for two months she wasn’t anything special. The high is very mellow and the taste isn’t the best either. I would have to grow another one of these before I could make a good recommendation...
