This is approximately my 8th grow... lost track. Still a noobie but learning... they're under an HLG 600H (quantum boards with a 600w meanwell driver). This baby puts out some serious light. 4x4x6.5 foot Apollo tent. 400 cfm 6" inline fan connected to a 6" carbon scrubber. Canna Coco bricks. I use a regular Nitrogen based cal mag in veg and grow more's flowering cal mag in flower.
Almost starting week 4. About 26 days from flip. Plants were flipped early due to scheduling conflicts. Normally I would veg them a bit bigger.
5 gallon smart pots, hand watered.
Ordered an RO system. Will start using that as soon as it's installed. Tap water comes out at 8.3 pH and 330ppm. Need to clean this up so the chloromines stop killing my bene's.

Day 28
Dropped light to 18”. I’ve been dropping the light 2” every other day or so for the last 2 weeks. I will not be going any lower.
Cindy’s pistils are already turning orange. The others have a few pistils turning but Cindy is around 1/3.
Not sure how much more they will stretch but I think they’re done.
Final height:
Strawberry glue 24”
Critical hog 24”
Cinderella 32”
Blueberry gum 21”
Day 29
Raised light to 22” due to leaf temperature getting too hot. 88F
Installed carbon scrubber
Day 35
Bulking up and getting frosty.
Started using RO water a few days ago. My pH shoots super low after adding the nutrients (3.1). Not sure if the pH pens were reading right. I have a couple cheap pH pens and an apera ph60 and they all read about the same thing. My tap water is 8.3 and after adding nutes, it usually drops to around 6.8-7.0. I usually add earth juice crystals to get it to 6.0 and call it a day. Need to get some pH up now.
I watered in the nutrients once already at the natural state of 3.1 with no change to the plants. I water in recharge once a week and I’m pretty sure that’s whats keeping them from becoming deficient or locking out. Gotta love beneficial microbes. Recharge raises pH, but that’s irrelevant since the microbes increase the pH range your plant will uptake according to Scotty(creator). I just watered them again with the 3.1 solution and did a recharge feeding a couple days ago.
I’m still getting some earth juice ph up soon. I feel more comfortable knowing the pH range is in the green.
Added a hurricane 12” wall mount fan to my 4x4... it sticks out too far but it pushes some serious air. Not sure if I will keep it that way or not. I cut a 2x4 and drilled some holes in the top and bottom of the 2x4 board. I ran zip ties through the 1/4” holes I drilled to secure it to the top and bottom poles of my tent. I then attached the bracket for the fan to mount to on the 2x4.
I had a pole mounted oscillating monkey fan for a while and I loved it. It broke after only a month though. Found out they were recalled and returned it to my hydro shop. They took it back for store credit which was cool. They have a 2nd version out now but I’m gonna wait on it to see if they are any better.
Day 36
Bought the earth juice ph up. Takes quite a bit more than the ph down to get the reading to move. Brought it all the way up to 6.3. Added a bubbler and pre mixed some nutes cause I’m going out of town for work. My friend will be caring for them in my absence. They’re pretty much on cruise control so as long as they don’t over/underwater, we should be good.
I hope the ph up keeps the solution stable. The EJ ph down worked well in that regard.
The girls are getting very stinky, had to turn up the fan to my scrubber.
The blueberry gum smells exactly as it’s namesake. Powder sugary berry smell. She’s also got the fattest buds. Typical since it’s also the shortest plant.
Critical hog has a hashy, earthy, coffee type smell. Typical afghan type smell.
Strawberry glue just smells sweet, nondescript.
Cinderella has almost no smell, just a weedy smell. Kinda surperised since the leaves are littered with frost. Not sure if Cindy is supposed to be a stinky strain. I hope she develops a pineapple flavor that some report.
Day 42
Not much to report, just moved the fan higher and tilted it down. It helps keep the light cool and the airflow seems improved.
Strawberry glue smells like it should now, funky strawberry with some gas. Getting pungent.
All the rest are same as last week, except the crit hog is getting a sweetness to the earthy. Sadly, Cindy is very feint in odor. I just hope she has nice uplifting effects.
Lower fans are yellowing, some already wilted and died. All of them are doing it except the BG#2 which is still fully green. I think the other 3 are a bit hungry. I don’t push them very hard, only 800-1000 ppm. I’m not concerned one bit. I usually see the lower fans start fading around this time in my experience. I will begin my flush soon. Probably around day 50, we will see how quickly they mature. They look a little ahead of schedule. I’ve heard some report a faster ripening under LED. We will see...
Day 49
Last day of nutrients will be tomorrow. Plain ro water from then on.
Cindy has developed a sweet, fully, tropical smell. She is frosty on top of frosty.
The other girls look pretty nice too. Crit hog is getting sweeter, honey like. Strawberry glue is getting gassy with a riper strawberry undertone. Blueberry gum 2 is getting sweeter, she smelled the strongest for the longest the whole grow. She also has the biggest buds by far. Bulky nuggets of fruity, powdered sugary goodness.
Day 54
Added pics
Day 56
More frost and a bit of yellowing starting to set in. Continuing to flush with ro water.
Smells are ripening, the Cindy is ready for harvest but I need her to go a few more days. If the sugar leaves start yellowing, I will chop her. The others look to be right on target for a 9 week finish.
Day 60
Added pics, Cindy is starting to Amber more, around 20%. She’s ready to come down, gonna have her hold on as long as she can stand it.
The other three look great but have little to no amber trichs. Still new pistils forming, I hope they mature over the next few days (not likely, I know). I’ve raised the light and dropped temps about 5 degrees. Can’t adjust it much more. I’ll be watering with ice water tomorrow and from here on until they mature.
Strawberry glue is trying to give Cindy a run for her money in the frostiest lady category.
Day 61
Added pics. Lights are off, harvesting Sunday, day 63. Was hoping to extend it a bit but I have to go out of town on Monday.
Nice uplifting sativa buzz. Creative and chatty. Strong but relaxing. She was a happy plant and ended up being the best yielder. She was also the tallest by 4”. Almost no odor the whole way. Frostiest of the bunch. Taste and smell is very subtle. Cheese like skunk with ripe tropical fruit aftertaste.
Heavy indica buzz. Strong sour blueberry flavor. Smells like blueberry and powdered sugar. One of the loudest strains I’ve grown. She smelled from week 3 with the same intensity the whole way through.
Lowest yielder, supposed to be a commercial strain, but she’s very high quality so I’m not complaining. She probably wanted more food in flower but I didn’t push too hard this round.
Potent hybrid buzz. Starts in the head and behind the eyes, then moves to the back and rest of the body. Smells like strawberry and gas. Tastes like citrusy chemicals with berry undertone.
2nd frostiest of the bunch. Strong odor most of the grow. Her odors were all over the place during the grow, starting off sweet and getting ripe a time the end. Great lineage and it shows. I did find one seed in one of the smaller tops.
