Strain
So, please take my review with a grain of salt, this being my true first proper grow. I do not want to immediately give a 10, because I do not have a good comparison baseline, and I also do not know what was grower mistakes and what was genetics with so few experience. So, I will go and explain my thoughts and I will comment on each aspect. Maybe in the future, after having more grows under my belt I will re-evaluate my rating.
Yield: 10/10
It blew away my expectations. Never would I have thought to end up with 158g of buds curing in jars. Was expecting between 80 and 100g for this first run, which I would hope to then improve in further runs, but this is already an amazing result.
Bud structure: 6/10
Well, here I do not know if it was genetics, or nutrients, or anything else related to the environment, this plant was leafy af, and the buds are not very dense. Not tooooo bad, but not great either. But she is definitely super frosty!
Terpenes: 6/10 (aromas: great, strength: low)
ATTENTION: There was a huge heat wave during my drying week and I had no way to bring the temperature down at home and although I did a dry trim, the drying went too fast (3~4 days) and Maria lost a lot of aroma. Now with curing, some is coming back, I was also able to jar some of it in time, which smells nicer, but nonetheless, overall, she does not emanate a lot of smell. I guess it could have also something to do with the nutrients I gave her, but, who knows. Overall, while growing, even though I had great experiences while touching her, still the smell was not as strong as it can be.
Overall growing: 8/10
She was able to take all my mistakes like a champ and kept growing to be a monster. But the 17 weeks - which in the end was also the reason for the high yield - were much more than I expected. Although I did harvest most around week 15 (I was counting with maybe max 14 weeks), it all was a bit too much for the auto, specially then in the electricity department.
Effects:
Very racy and happy high (but not giggly). Very energetic, actually keeps me from going to bed if used in the evening. Do recommend as a daytime smoke. I am happy with the potency as well.
All in all, a great strain, also suitable for beginners, like me. Quite resilient to stress, grows like champ, but has a few downsides. Definitely take into account a longer grow than advertised. But I do thoroughly recommend it, and I still have one last seed and will probably grow it soon.
