Growing it

So, please take my review with a grain of salt, this being my true first proper grow. I do not want to immediately give a 10, because I do not have a good comparison baseline, and I also do not know what was grower mistakes and what was genetics with so few experience. So, I will go and explain my thoughts and I will comment on each aspect. Maybe in the future, after having more grows under my belt I will re-evaluate my rating.

Yield: 10/10
It blew away my expectations. Never would I have thought to end up with 158g of buds curing in jars. Was expecting between 80 and 100g for this first run, which I would hope to then improve in further runs, but this is already an amazing result.

Bud structure: 6/10
Well, here I do not know if it was genetics, or nutrients, or anything else related to the environment, this plant was leafy af, and the buds are not very dense. Not tooooo bad, but not great either. But she is definitely super frosty!

Terpenes: 6/10 (aromas: great, strength: low)
ATTENTION: There was a huge heat wave during my drying week and I had no way to bring the temperature down at home and although I did a dry trim, the drying went too fast (3~4 days) and Maria lost a lot of aroma. Now with curing, some is coming back, I was also able to jar some of it in time, which smells nicer, but nonetheless, overall, she does not emanate a lot of smell. I guess it could have also something to do with the nutrients I gave her, but, who knows. Overall, while growing, even though I had great experiences while touching her, still the smell was not as strong as it can be.

Overall growing: 8/10
She was able to take all my mistakes like a champ and kept growing to be a monster. But the 17 weeks - which in the end was also the reason for the high yield - were much more than I expected. Although I did harvest most around week 15 (I was counting with maybe max 14 weeks), it all was a bit too much for the auto, specially then in the electricity department.

Very racy and happy high (but not giggly). Very energetic, actually keeps me from going to bed if used in the evening. Do recommend as a daytime smoke. I am happy with the potency as well.

All in all, a great strain, also suitable for beginners, like me. Quite resilient to stress, grows like champ, but has a few downsides. Definitely take into account a longer grow than advertised. But I do thoroughly recommend it, and I still have one last seed and will probably grow it soon.

I am happy with you Maria Maravigla!

Really like that you can go the whole cycle with a single, cost effective, product. Really amazing for beginners!

Performed amazingly, loved the dimming function, that let me tailor the amount necessary at each step of the way!

Perfect size for one plant!

Sorry for the delay on the total yield and end harvest week. She was chopped completely on day 117.

So, the first harvest yielded 108g, the second one, an additional 50g, but those were, in terms of bud structure, much inferior, and I cannot still say anything regarding potency, as I did not try it. Probably an additional 15~20g - if not more - of popcorn buds ended up in the trim pile. The trim, in total fills a 3L bag, will look into options to process it, although I'm leaning towards making only butter.

Nute schedule question
I would like to know the best approach regarding nutes at this point (see picture). Last mix I did I mixed [Coco A (8-0-0) : Coco B (0-6-12)] at a ratio of [1 : 1.4]. Was this a good approach at this stage? Should I still give more N and be at 1:1.2 for more stretch?

Hi you should lower your N ratio by now, add more coco b and less coco a 1:1.4 seems reasonable.

HELP! Sudden drooping/wilting!
My plant went from looking very healthy at 14h to be wilting/drooping completely by 21h! Any clues? is this pythium? Checked root tips coming off fabric, all looks nice and white, and no foul smells. More in diary.

Yea, then don't change anything yet, I bet she perks up at when the light comes back on. This happened to me in my first grow and turned out okay.

Overwatering, root issues, or very cold nights are the other possibilities, but I bet she's fine. See how she looks when the light cycle kicks in.

Bruising or nute problem?
I do not have enough characters here, please check diary for details. Some tops are showing some problems. The thing is, only a few and it does not seem related to light distance. My first thoughts is this is bruising, but I would like some more expert opinions.

The picture you have shown look like a deficiency but your diary pic makes it look like toxicity. Being the leaves look a lot darker. I think they look goo though and you should keep up the good work. Good luck and happy growing.

Chop chop or not?
I find it extremely difficult to understand when to harvest. I definitely do not want to get to the couch lock point. I find it hard to distinguish between milky and transparent trichs. Should I harvest? A few more days?

Essentially, when you don't have heavily translucent trichomes (or very few of them), then you are in harvest window.

The trichomes should pretty much be white for (mostly) non-couch lock effect with some amber(10-30% is okay) more head high, lots of amber for couch-lock, sedation.

Here's an example of the sort of trichome look you'd want:

Beautiful:ok_hand:, Nice job, growing auto's is an experiment
every time:smirk:I just ordered hulkberry from RQS, it'll be
my first time growing this strain. I should be starting a
run in a few weeks, if they grow like yours:+1:, maybe I'll
only do two at time. Later!
Luck with your next experiment:facepunch:

@northernMike, Good luck!!
