I bought a 3 pack seed of this strain I picked the seed number 1 to be the cloning mother cause of it sativa looking structure, even tho the hight of this plant is very indica and will leave you stuck to the couch big time. Also picked seed 1 cause it seems to be the more resistant and strong of them 3. Cloning is has been slow with this strain the cuttings even tho they have roots and out of the dome still developing roots slower than theri peers tangiendream and ayahuasca.
They are growing strong and healthy, i lollypoped earlier and gave them a good feed of nutrients. The two smaller ones were trabsplanted from their cloning pot 4 days ago. Pineapple is def slower than tangie and ayahuasca, but they are healthy and I think they will be ready for flower in around to more weeks
I decided to leave them Veg until monday 8th. And flip them to flower that day to give time to the smallest one to develope better. Other than that they are healthy and happy. Today was the last defoliation, I left 3 nodes from the top and everything down was chopped. And I won't cut any more leaves (excluding the yellow leaves along the way),
Today is the 2nd day of flower O had a bit of cold in the grow room last night and some of the fan leaves got cold stress but thats fixed now and shouldn't be a big of a deal. I will defoliate later down the road for now I will let them stretch and develope without stressing her more than needed.
Pineapple chunk is the most sativa phenotype and is streching very fast everyday, I pick this sativa phenotype because of the very strong pineapple smell. The small damage to the fan leaves last week due to some cold is now fixed and they are not showing any sign of stress.
Pineapple chunk is definitely the more sensitive strain of the 3 im runing at this time, she has some yellowing in the bigger and lower fan leaves wich i cut hope it will get better with this dose of nutrients.
This week the bigger fan leaves has started to yellow and get dark spots on some. I turned the second light a week ago and I'm thinking about some burning or some type of deficiency but I have been using my nutrient schedule for a while now and the dont show deficiency. I turned the potency of the bigger light to 50% dimmed like 3 days ago, plus I double the dose of nutrients this week to see how they respond. Let me know what you think this yellowing and spots are.
@Lou_Grows, You're right. It was heat stress, I was pushing the plants as much as I could with a high light DLI and Co2, got very good fast growth around 28/29'C but started seeing stress up around 31/32'C so had to dial it back to 28/29'C.
I run a perpetual grow, the younger plants loved the higher temps but late flower ones didn't handle it well. In the end I've found that 27/28'C with 50-55% RH and Co2 is the best compromise for all the plants at different stages.
