Got these two Lemon Skunk clones at two weeks after they were cut. Let them recover from transport for a few days then transplanted them into 3 gallon pots with fresh substrate. Started giving them light nutes a couple days ago. I think they're doing better.
They seem to be recovering nicely. They're about an inch taller and leaves are filling out. I think they are liking their new nutrients, substrate, and environment. Looking foreward to another great crop.
Topped the LS girls yesterday. Increased nutes, and light intensity. Already got pretty white pistils popping out of calayxes. Went ahead and performed some light defoiliation as well. They seem to be happy now, and on our way to preflower.☺️
In preflower. Lots of bud sites. The girls are happy. Don't know, but the way they're growing they might overtake the critical girls. Dropped the ph a little, and added another fan. They didn't seem to be getting enough of a sway. At the very least it'll increase air circulation. Will switch to bloom stage nutes, increase light intensity, and start dropping the temp a little in the up coming week. I always get excited about buds!☺️
So, I'm running a couple days late on my entry for this past week. Added 4 inches which isn't enough. Going into week 3 of bloom stage so I don't think I'll get much more height out of them. Should have kept these clones under 18/6 for a couple of weeks. Defoiliated pretty heavy earlier in the week. Switched to bloom stage nutes, decreased night temps, and am at full light intensity. They're looking good and healthy. Just not going to be as big of yield as it could have been. Valuable lesson learned.
So, the Lemon Skunk girls are really starting to bud up nice. Probably not gonna get anymore height out of them, but it is what it is. They're gonna be all bud.☺️ They're happy, healthy, and starting to frost. All is well.
Another great week for the Lemon Skunk girls. Buds are increasing in size. Getting dense and frosty. Really starting to get a strong kind of citrus pungent aroma. Light defoiliation to open 'em up a little more. These girls aren't quite as thirsty as their room mates, but their bud maturity seems to be a little ahead of the others. Which is fine with me.☺️ It's not gonna be a big yield, but it's definitely gonna be some high zuke smoke!😉👍
So, I let the girls dry out right out the beginning of the week. Been watching trichomes pretty close. Gave them a nice nutrient rich drink then checked trichomes again. They're getting real close.☺️ and wow! They're smelling great! Buds are big, dense, and frosty. I'm thinking tomorrow after lights on I'm gonna start the flush. Depending on how trichomes are looking I'm guessing a few more days, and these girls will be ready for the dark room for a day or two. Then it's harvest time!😬👍
Big buds! Big yellow tinted buds!☺️ Yes, I'm pretty happy with the way these girls turned out. Especially after the mistake i made by starting them out 12/12, rather than 18/6, and keeping them in veg for awhile so they could put some size on. Now I know.😌 Beginning of the week I hit them with Advanced Nutrients Overdrive. Watched trichomes really close everyday. They were changing, but not as fast as I expected. Then, bam! I think the 2nd day in They were at about 10%, so I started the flush with Flawless Finish. They had about 20-25% milky, and amber by day 6, so I put 'em in the dark room for 48 hrs. Great aroma! Covered with sugar, and looking tasty!😀 Will harvest tomorrow! Hopefully, will have enough time in the dry room to give a smoke report next week. Oh boy, can't wait!😉
So, these Lemon Skunk clones were really a pleasure to grow. I screwed up by starting them out under 12/12. If I would have kept them in veg for a few weeks, I would have had a much better yield. Now, I know.😌 Other than that, I can find no fault. They were responsive, and strong all the way through. Great strain. Great genetics. Great grow! High grade! Totally awesome flower!☺️
