Two Bubba OG clones at a little over a week when I picked them up. They were pretty weak. Let them recover from transport for three days with just low intensity light. They didn't seem to be doing very well. I transplanted them a couple days ago into fresh substrate, and put them under the Lumenater 2x from Lushledlighting, and kept the light pretty high. Been gradually lowering. Maybe a little to much to early. Got a bit of a droop so raised it back up about an inch or so. We'll see what happens in the next few days.
So, I think I gave them to much light for their first week. I raised to 16 inches. We'll see what happens
They look healthy. Just a little droopy. Pretty much a classic symptom of to high light intensity.
The girl's look great. Happy and healthy. Problem is I'm thinking I screwed up this whole grow with the clones. I started all three strains right off under 12/12. I should have kept them under 18/6 for a couple of weeks. Now I've got short stocky plants that are gonna be real small yielders. The bubba of is only 7" tall, and already in preflower. I called one of my associates, and learned where I went wrong. Starting seeds out 12/12 is much different than clones. Oh well, It's disappointing, but grow and learn.😒
So, these girls aren't gonna yield much at all. I started them under 12/12 right off rip, and screwed up. I'm gonna keep 'em going. They'll probably only get to about 10-11 inches from what I understand. I didn't take into account that clones are really mature plants, and needed time in veg before going to 12/12. Oh well, it's disappointing I made such a stupid mistake, but another lesson learned.
So, they're just little girls, but doing well. They're gonna be just one cola of pure bud. I can live with that!😉 I'm in it for the quality rather than the quantity anyhow. Although, a big yield of quality is always nice too!☺️
The little Bubba OG girls are little.😢 However, they seem to be happy and healthy. They're practically all just one bud. There are a couple little branches on them with buds, but basically just one cola, all bud. The bud is thick and dense, getting all frosty as well. Really nice aroma. It'll be some good smoke!☺️💨
The little Bubba OG girls are getting real close. Buds are frosty, and loaded with trichomes. They're are a few milky ones, but I'd say at least a couple more days give or take. I started the flush using Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish a couple days ago. So, a few more days under the lights then in the dark room they go.☺️
The little Bubba OG clones went into the darkroom this evening. It took all week to reach about 30% milky and amber trichomes, but man, these little girls are loaded with 'em!😀 Not gonna be any huge yield, but it's definitely gonna be some quality flower.👍 So, I expect to harvest either Sunday night or Monday morning. I don't know, as dense as these buds are, if they'll be dry enough for smoke report by next Friday or Saturday, but we can shoot for it, and hope.😉
These girls finished before the other strains. I'm not sure if it was my initial mistake of not keeping them in veg longer or if this strain's just an early finisher. Not a big yield, but high quality flower.
Thanks to GD, and the entire fam for riding with me on this one.☺️
