She sprouted strong but shortly after suffered lockout from the ph being off. I thought it was Nitrogen difficiency at first, but upon recalibration of my ph pen using buffing power, watering ph was over 3 points too high on the alkaline side. Problem was fixed there after.
She suffered from Nitrogen toxicity this week, resulting from the misdiagnosis in earlier veg week. The issue was really the ph calibration being off, but before I figured that out I had gave her heavy nitrogen ferts. The claw bruh....the claw, damn. But she pulled through though with preflowers showing this week.
She showing sex...so I decided to flip her to the 12 this week and introduce the flower nutes. I defoliated the lower portion of the plant removing the damaged leaves from early veg. She is dialed in and doing great despite the veg issues. Typically I would have slowly weened off the veg nutes for flower stretch sakes, but being that she was just toxic, I figured she good on nitrogen and I'd add a bit if she shows a need for it.
Oh this girl stretching good! She is looking very nice and I am now starting a little leaf tucking here and there. Them preflowers starting that beautiful light green hue of pre-eminent budsites. She is on her way! No training what so ever...just a few more lower canopy leaves removed. This grow,we will marvel at the natural beauty of her structure.
She is being fed every watering and is definitely lookin luscious. Her leaf texture is like thin delicate velvet and her structure is broad and bushy with multiple budsites. She drinks about a 1/2 gallon a day and is pretty close to wrapping up stretch the next few weeks will be crucial. Let's see how she does next week
Week 4 flower disaster, my ph was too low and this OG Kush let me know it was a problem immediately. I didn't know what the hell was going on, as no other plants had issues and they were all under the same feed. Did an emergency flush to see the ph was too low. My Ph pen was off and pretty much unstable. I threw it out and bought another. The leaves clawed very badly and began getting crispy with deficiencies showing. After flushing the media out to a 6.0 ph runoff, she got only watering with no nutes and a defoliation of every fxcked up leaf. She was lookin bad...
The OG Kush spent this week 5 of flower recuperating from the previous week ph issue. I'm still selectively defoliating damaged leaves and am beginning to slowly see healthy new growth. She is a bit yellow from the flush so I bagan her back on 1/4 strength flower nutes. I think she's pulling through well, although I definitely noticed some shock related slowdown in growth.
Week 7 of flower, she is pushing along well. I went ahead a began flush and cut the feed. I want to fade her out nicely. I tied down her lower branching and really opened her canopy up. She is nice and bushy, running budsites up and down each cola. She looks like she may need another 2 weeks. But we shall see. She is very sticky and has fuel/pine terps coming off her. Her buds are starting to swell, but calyxes not very dense/firm yet. May need to let her go for maybe 3 more weeks to fill out nicely.
This is going into week 3 flower, she is beginning to throw a deep ammonia type terpine. She is the smelliest in the flower tent amongst 3 other strains in bloom right now. She is ripening this week and is receiving blackstrap molasses and TPS signal ph'd down to 6.0 in tapwater.
