Running bunch of clones with the Floraflex microdrip/platforms. Everything from clone, going to be learning the drip system throughout the grow so could go either way. Check out my Instagram to get discounts and info on the system. The platforms are fuckin awesome they make life so much easier whether your hand watering or running the drip system. I have made a list of products to help those who want to try it out get started. A 6 plant platform setup is under $100 (not including pump $61) and 6 plant platform/microdrip is around $150 BEFORE THE DISCOUNT! Please feel free to contact me with any questions and to get the list, my Instagram dms is prob the best way to reach me I check them every couple days @bangdangbuds.

Clones for 5x9 are already in final pots, clones for 4x8 are in the incubator.

This is 10 days after the first video in week one, 2 days since running the co2 and they started to take off in the 5x9. BTW the floraflex nute dosages are grams per gallon since its dry. ALSO notice the no calmag, have seen multiple growers using floraflex with zero calmag and ZERO ISSUES they have even told me personally that they seem to have healthier plants without the calmag which is wild to me (another reason to switch to floraflex). The 4x8 were just transplanted within the past 3 days, no co2 yet. Obviously isn't perfect I wish I had everything at the same exact stage but I had an issue with some of the clones and couldn't wait to start them over so I just transplanted some mothers I had hanging around in solo cups from a few runs ago. The small ones are the new clone strains cherry kush mints frosted apricots and Platinum Gushers. Might have some issues feeding everything evenly as the smaller ones won't be eating as much as soon as the rest. Maybe I'll stop the co2 in the 5x9 and only run in 4x8 to get everything to even out as much as possible before the flip. Next run I'll have to be more organized and prepared but I'm hopeful I can pull off some decent results on this one. The co2 in the tents is a little tricky, would like to hear how some other growers run theirs. Constant exhaust on lowest setting? Exhaust on a timer? No exhaust? Today I'm trying no exhaust at all and see what happens like a sealed room essentially but im thinking of having the exhaust on a timer to run every 2 hours for 15 mins just to refresh the air or every hour for about 5 mins. Got alot of cleanup left to do so don't mind the God damn mess mf.
5x9 everything is still the same for the most part, been running the system 4 times a day for 7-9 mins at a time manually until my auto ph doser gets here then I will have them on a timer for more frequent but shorter feedings.
The 4x8 is starting to get goin a little bit I put the trellis in last night and did some super cropping and weaving. Also installed the drip system yesterday on the 4x8 but still hand feeding for another day or 2.
The calmag cut off seems to be fine for them

They continued to blow up this week. I added the bluelab ph controller and put everything on timers now so its mostly automated at this point. Only issue i have is with the co2. To run the co2 efficiently and not just waste it I have to either turn the exhaust off which I tried, but had condensation build up on the walls or put it on low. Even with the exhaust on low, if the humidity outside is even in the 40s im getting condensation. I just ordered a smaller 50 pint dehumidifier hoping I can squeeze it into the 4x8 but its gunna be tight. Thinking about putting my 70 pint in the 5x9 but also will be tight. Dehumidifier reviews make it a fuckin headache to pick one out I mean does anyone make a good one? If I can run co2 and keep the RH in check its gunna get buck wild in these tents thats a hawkbo promise.
Day 7 of flower. Cleaned up some of the lowers realized the strip is gunna be miserable. Put a humidifier in each tent so I can run the co2 with the exhaust low without getting the condensation. The trop juice 4 in the back right of the 5x9 is gunna be a monster.
Updating this 2 days late today is day 23 but the pics were taken on day 21/22. The leaf strip was a bitch, took me a day and a half to do the 5x9 and I'm still workin on the 4x8. I would have paid someone atleast $400 to do this for me it was brutal my back is toast. Hopefully it will pay off in the end 🤦♂️ everything looks promising tho.
Day 28 folks. I fuckin tripped liked a dumbass and broke a bunch of branches off the frosted apricots in the 4x8, kept an eye on it and it popped out some nanners so I had to take it down. Hoping I got it out im time before it pollinated anything but not positive. It's always somethin. Broke a head nug off the platinum silk too but havnt found any dix on her so that one might be aight. The leaf strip with the trellis is just no Bueno. Might try a different method next run where u strip everything below the first node on day 7 of flower and then a quick pluck down the line so I dont have to do matrix shit thru the nets like Neo dodgin bullets. Go use my codes for some floraflex shit 🤙
Back on track today is Day 35. In the past I have fed lightly I dont like burnt tips but with the variety of strains in this grow with the co2 I bumped it up a little. Some strains like the Polar Vortex 6 are much more sensitive than some others so it was unavoidable. Other than the tips they are all doing pretty well. The Cherry kush mints in the 4x8 in my eyes is clearly a beast it had the shortest veg time and caught up to most of the big girls. Also its development has been impressive with a unique terp profile at this stage. The sleeper is the garlicane 5. I've grown most of these once or twice before but with the upgrades and the co2 that one has developed nicely and looks like it will put on some serious weight. Things will start to heat up over the next couple weeks. See my IG for some promo codes @bangdangbuds
Not a great week. Brought in some cuts, found some thrip damage, found some thrips in the 5x9. It's not a heavy infestation at this point I just stared at the plants for 45 mins and only found 2 adults and the leave damage is minimal considering the amount of plants. Problem is im hesitant to spray, I did a light spray with the dr zymes a couple days ago but the tent is so packed and with the trellis I dont have access to the middle of the tent so I can't get full coverage with a spray. At this point I'm thinking just ride it out, spray the lower shit every couple days with the zymes, put up some sticky traps on the stalks, chop asap and then wash the buds in a bucket of ro water with 1/4 cup lemon juice then a dip in plain ro after removing as much foliage as possible. After that ill have to do a bigtime sanitization. Somehow I havnt found any sign of them in the 4x8 thankfully but im not outta the woods yet. Anybody got suggestions they are welcomed. Definitely should have kept up with the ipm better. In 5 years I've been lucky enough where fungus gnats was my worst pest encounter. Just sucks it had to happen when everything was going so well I know its going to hurt my yield and flavor I just have to salvage what I can and learn from it. Hopefully next week I'll have some better news but I doubt it
I made so many mistakes during this run I can't even believe we made it to this point. The flowers aren't great but they're aight considering. I tested some run off and ppm was 3000+. I was consistently hearing the condensate pumps go off which made me think I was getting run off not realizing it was from the dehumidifier. The pics were taken on Thursday and after 2 days of flushing they look better and have swelled up a little bit. I sprayed dr zymes for the thrips 3 days in a row to try and knock them out. I know spraying in flower is never great but the zymes evaporates and really had no noticeable negative effects on the buds (pistil burning or residue) and I havnt seen a thrip or any damage in a few days. I also got the full line of Marrone bio grandevo, venerate and regalia which ill incorporate into a weekly ipm starting next run. I'm gunna wash the buds at the end. Hopefully all the dumb shit I do this run I can learn from and improve. Day 49 I've dropped the base nutrients and have them on 8 grams per gal of full tilt with some aptus additives and enzymes. The multi strain makes it tricky as a few really need 70-80 days but at this point I just want to wrap it up asap. I'll hand feed the 3 or 4 plants that still need the base probly.
Day 56
There's only 9 plants left on the microdrip getting straight full tilt and slf100, the rest are being flushed using the water wand to give the longer running strains enough time to mature. The Polar Vortex 6's , trop juice 1, garlicane 2, garlicane 5, Polar vortex 4's, platinum silk and platinum gushers are gunna come down this week.
This is what's left pics were taken last thurs. Got like 8 more left to chop this week then when they're all down and I got pics ill do the harvest update
By far the best diary I have seen and its only just begun love the setup love the video and the breakdown of what u used to build. Enough respect 👊✌️✌️
@Reyden, grab some in house genetics I went thru tscnovelties which is the seed connection on instagram but there are atleast 20 seed banks that carry in house. If you want ethos check out seedsherenow
Hell yes! I just picked up some Trop Juice seeds a couple weeks ago and plan to run them next cycle! Stoked to watch someone's a few weeks ahead of mine :D
