This plant has been behaving really nicely to be honest. Growing beautifully, although I tied down each of the two main nodes after had grown out after topping. This way the side branches are the same height as the rest of the canopy and i should find I get a little more from it.
It's also still not started flowering properly (there are one or two pre-flowers but that's it soi decided to re-pot it into a slightly bigger pot with more soil, some worm castings and some perlite. I also had a product I bought a while ago which is a micorhyzae innoculant that You mix into your soil, even though I use either recharge (if I'm flush) or ecosys now that I know it is basically as good. It is doubling up on mycorhyzae but the ecosys has much much more than just micorhyzae so it's worth it. I wouldn't necessarily buy the one that you mix into the media again, however, they sent me a massive bag of it. I ordered a small tester and they sent me the biggest one they do!
I also Bought the heatsink for a new light as it was going for a very good price and is in pretty darned good condition. I am a little annoyed as the bar light frame didn't come with any actual lights (I realised after I had bidder but that's cool, i luckily have built quite a few lights now and recently bought a proper soldering iron so it shuld be good.
To be honest I'm tempted to mount 5x 20w cheap Chinese COB's as On my tortilla glue grow I used exclusively cheap Chinese cobs and the weed came out so frosty, I just fucked up the grow by overwatering, impatients and basically not getting nearly long enough. We all start somewhere and at least I got a harvest but the little bud I did get was amazing, absolutely frosty as fuckand really strong and that was bag seed!
UPDATE - 11th April
Things have just been chugging along nice and steady since the reply and she is showing lots more preflowers now so I have started feeding her the bloom mute along with weekly feedings of ecothrive biosys at 1g/L.
She seems to be loving it, lucky coz i don’t have the room for any more. I need will soon need tHe space. Dunno wot else to say really. As you can see I have a fully flowering plant that I'm not 100% sure what it is but it's DEFINITELY RQS, firstly I recognise the way it flowered and the way the buds structured themselves. There are some donkey dicks on there. Definitely the biggest auto I have grown. Especially now I'm learning to read the plan, not the label! (Also figuring out floraTRI-PART is a three bottle program ALL THE WAY THROUGH! if no idea how I got such a good fastberry by using just two of the three bottles at a time!
Oh well, we all make mistakes.
I also bought a big bin, filled it with water and put air-stone in there connected to an old fish tank air pump. With the lid on it's surprisingly quiet. Obviously it's PH'D correctly. ThatS why I did it.
@MrJones, i just wrote a whole speach saying i dont understand but then i think i realised what you meant. did you mean mention you in a comment when i get a new diary up and running? it will be soon, i received some purple lemonade, Lemon Pie and Purple Punch seeds from my sponsorship with fast buds today 😃 I have a few options for grow spaces and the equipment for one medium sized extra tent. Maybe even get the old grow cabinet back in action! Also i will be freeing up a lot of space in a couple of weeks when the other auto is ready (i dont remember what strain it is, however, i know it said it took roughly the same amount of time but there were fuck ups in germination so it ended up being germinated 2 weeks later. I think it MAY be Northern Lights Auto (i could be making that up tho) either way, it a bit of a beast, the buds are getting read dense now)
@MrJones,cheers bro. Much appreciated. I just got a load of sponsorship seeds from fast buds so it should be interesting to see how they veg now I know to put them in bigger hempys, add some worm castings and make the res a little bigger than 2”. That’s for my personal needs. Oh and obviously perlite. Simple, effective. Should be able to grow some bushes. Specially if I step up from root roots to a small hempy to a bigger hempy to the final hempy.
