Welcome to my new diary, i dropped them all in 60 ml water with 10 ml hydrogen peroxide 3%.
After 24 hours they all sprouted, so it was time to put them in the cocos/perlite mix.
The first week goes easy as always, i have put the beans directly in the Plagron premium cocos/perlite mix (60/10 liters)
This grow i will use the full nutrient line from Hy-Pro, i have started with only some root stimulator (2.5 ml/L)
after a couple of days i have removed the top from the propagator to give the fresh sprouted ladies some fresh air.
I saw that the small plants weren't growing that hard this week so i lowered the secret jardin cosmorrow leds to 15 cm above the plants.
it is my first time using these so i still need to find to perfect hanging height for these lights.
but no worries since we're not in a rush.
next week i'm also gonna start with some extra nutrients.
You can see that they start growing better after i lowered the light to 15 cm above the plants.
I have also started this week with the normal nutrient dose (full line from Hy-pro) and extra CaMg boost from Aptus once a week extra since i'm growing under leds on coco the plants really like these extra ca/mg.
had some strange values with my PH/EC so it was also time to calibrate them this week, from now on i'm gonna do this every 2 weeks to keep them always good.
This week it is time to transplant the small plants to their final pots/room.
They are standing under the Mars Hydro SP3000 on 50% at 60 cm height above the canopy, i'm gonna lower the light in the past weeks and put it slowly to 100% when i switch to flower.
i've mixed 60L cocos premium and 10L perlite from Plagron for their final (18L) pots.
i drilled some holes in the pots to make the low stress training i'm gonna do on them easier for myself.
I also received my new ph/ec meter + soil meter this week from Aquamastertools to make my measurements quicker.
This week my new Danish tray arrived, i made some wood under it to let the water go to the deepest point where i can easily remove it with a handpump.
Also i find some strange marks on my plants wich are from a calcium defiency i guess, i'm gonna give them now twice a week some ca/mg boost instead of once a week.
maybe it is because my runoff wasn't that good but i have fixed this now because of the Danish tray.
I also topped all the ladies to prepare them on the LST 👍🏻
The plants are getting more bushy after the topping of last week so it is time to bend them down for some low stress training.
And like always you will break something... this time was it a main stem and i can't find any tape to fix it so better luck next time.
It don't seem like it hurts them because they are bouncing up already the other day 👍
I saw some strange spots on my leaves and because i had the round before this on spider mites (took an plant from outside inside)
I was totally stressed out and took my microscope, i saw some strange things what looked like eggs so i directly took my Bac plant vitality plus and sprayed the plants every 3 days.
Better safe than sorry!
Still sprayed the plants every 3 days with the Bac plant vitality plus just to be sure that there is nothing alive that should be alive in my plants haha.
Also there are still some strange spots on the leaves wich i think are still from a bit of calmag defiency, so from now i give it 3 times a week and also have raised the EC a bit to 1.6.
Finally build my frame for the fan/support net so 2 more weeks before i flip the clock to 12/12 hours.
In the beginning of this week i've turned the lights off for 48 hours and directly after that i've switched it to 12/12.
You can see that the plants grow really hard now!
you can see the light green crowns popping everywhere so you can already see where the buds are coming 💪
The first buds are forming now so we are gonna count the days of flowering now, as far as i can see it are all ladies 😄
since they are flowering now i stopped giving the spraymix.
i also have switched my fan for another one, my old one felt down and broke...
it also broke 1 of my plants in half but there is nothing duct-tape can't fix 😂😂
The smell is starting to come already a bit, every time when i open the cabinet there is a very sweet/citrus smell 😍
I made the plants this week more even and also removed some leaves/small buds (lollipopped them)
the new fan is awesome by the way, you can see all the plants dancing in the wind now since this one is oscilating.
Again i found some strange marks on my plants wich i can't explain so i asked my buddy that is working for Aptus if he can have a closer look for me.
Where i was thinking i thinking that i had some defiency he thinks that i have a lockout because of to much salts in my medium.
at the end of the week i made some bottom samples and he was totally right about that!
My runoff EC/PH are also very different from wich goes in...
The first day of next week i will remove all the leaves to try a new technique to me (schwazzing)
No nutrient this week for the girls, i only flushed them with Enzym+ since my plants had a lockout you can see it in the first 4 pictures ( i made these after a couple of days flushing)
in the beginning my EC runoff was about 2.0, thats way to high and from now on i'm gonna check my runoff after each watering.
I also removed all the big fan leaves (schwazzing) and when i was was doing it i was thinking: what are you doing man?
it hurts my eyes to look at them now haha 😂
It seems like the plants don't bother the heavy defoilation and the go on with what i like the most: making frosty buds 😂😂
half way this week i started giving the plants some nutrients again with an EC of 1.0 and i'm gonna build this up and check my runoff after each watering to see if my plants need more or it is enough.
The EC is already back at 1.3, the plants handle it very good and it seems like the never had a nutrient lockout.
The Purps already has a lot of brown pistils and i think this one will finish way faster than the rest, but i'm not really sure about it since i had this before and at the last weeks the buds are more than doubled in size.
so lets see what the last week will do 👍
Every time i open the cabinet now i get a smile on my face 😁
The smell that is coming off the plants ain't normal anymore, i think this is gonna be a nice round with heavy/dense nugs that are full off terps!
Got the EC already back at 1.7 (1.5 runoff) and it looks like the buds growth is exploding now haha.
1 more week till i'm gonna start the flush on these girls.
You can see the plants get fatter/frostyer now every day, most of them are nearly ready now so at the end of this week i've started giving them only tap water with an PH of 6.0.
i also found a two nanners on the Purps OG (late flower banana's so don't worry about them)
the trichs also say they are nearly ready so they wont start making seeds i guess.
i have removed the bud with the nanners and dried it to look good at it, when i looked at it this weekend i don't saw seeds and i smoked it aswell.
it tasted still a bit green but has a taste that reminds me of caramel sweets 😍
Looking good 🙏🏻
Best of luck on the grow and diary 🍁🍀❤️
Great choice. Casting a spell of success on this one 🧙♀️❄️ 👍🏻
Happy growing #420 ❤️
I predict some frosty nugs ❄️
