As long as the plant is healthy you have a decent chance of that branch rooting. if you plan to veg that branch out more and make a new plant out of it I would cut off the bud sites and set it under 18/6 lighting so that it can root and reveg. if you just plan on flowering it as it is, then once it roots it should continue to flower shortly after. it might take longer for it to continue flowering due to the stress of rebooting.
now because the plant was flowering when this happened it does lower the viability of it rooting a little but not enough to really worry about. I would remove a few of the bigger fan leaves to make sure it doesn't focus too much energy on growing while it is trying to root. it should root in 7-14 days but may take longer as well. as long as the cutting looks healthy keep at it and it should root eventually. if it starts looking really sad then it may be done for. make sure to mist the leaves daily and if you can keep it under some sort of humidity dome that will help tremendously.
