Testing Cannabinoid Content

Smokin_Joestarted grow question 5y ago
I've seen some growers report that they "sent a sample to the lab for testing" and was wondering if anyone had further insight or information about which companies do that and the process involved. I've tried to poke around myself to no avail.

You need to live on a Legal State, that offers such services. California for example. You can send a sample to the labs, they will ask the right amount if flowers, or hash, or concentrate, etc. They not only test for cannabinoids such as TCH, CBD, etc, but also for pests, mold, pesticides or chemicals, everything that could be "bad", and they even sometimes are able to certify "for human consumption", some tests are more extensive (and expensive) than others. Happy smokes!

I do - my state allows medical patients to grow. I'll start by reaching out to the labs that I see on the back of the dispensaries packaging I suppose. Thanks!
