I wouldn't water a seedling. I've killed seedlings from expensive seed banks before when I first started growing from overwatering. To this day, I use a mist bottle and I spray the soil around the seedling until it developes more vegetation. The plant needs a few nodes and true leaves before it can begin transpiring water from it's leaves then I give them half a cup or so and work my way up.

I just keep the Soil around the Seedling wet till it starts to develop some nodes...then i gets water around every 3-7 days (depends on Humidty and so on..)
I mean you dont water the whole thing unless your sure that the plant has enough roots to absorb the Water or not ? 😬
