Day 39 on the flip. Any suggestions what might be happening? One leaves are turning yellow and purple. Is it ok to trim the sugar leaves off now at the bottom?

Do you have any pictures? This might make it easier to say..
If the old leaves are turning yellow, it could be a nitrogen deficiency.. purple could be a P deficiency, however it can also be the genetics of the strain, so there's more information needed (i.e. what medium, feeding schedule, etc.)

Hey, for the leaves it might juste be the senescence starting. If it improves light penetration to the lower buds you can trim the fan leaves at the bottom (sugar leaves are the tiny one full of trichomes, I'm not sure that's what you are talking about.)
