Sprouting seedlings during a heatwave (Outdoor)

How does a heatwave affect a newly sprouted seedling? I sprouted about 8 seedlings in soil during a heatwave (100 degrees farenhieght). Does the heat affect the growrh of the seedling? 5 of the 8 turned out to be runts. TIA for your answers.

if they fall over, give them some shade... if they stay standing, they are fine. The leaves will likely not look happy. Increase humidity if you can. don't want to cause microbial growth or burning of leaves as it evaporates and leaves solutes behind, either.

One of my girls is a little stunted - what's wrong? (Wedding Cake Barney's Farm - feminized)So as you can see one of my girls is looking a little stunted, and the leaves are kinda flakey. Short bushy plantsGot these short bushy plants filling the whole 1 square meter space. Usually I yield about a pound of dry flower out of that space with the same setup but taller plants. These only range from 1ft to 2ft tall at day 17 bloom. Can yield be less because they are short? Thanks!

Same tent, same seeds package, same germination method, same soil, same light but big height difference. What could it be? Thanks 💚Hi guys, what do you think could be the reason for such a difference in heights at this stage? The short one sprouted 12h earlier and you can probably see is a little ahead in nodes/leaves development but stayed low. I even tried switching them places in the tent a few days ago.

Very slow seedling growth into Week 2, grew with only one healthy cotyledon...The #2(Pic 2) Pheno of my Purple Haze is a bit stunted/very slow growth into Week 2 - 3 compared to #1(Pic 1) Pheno. Is this anything to be worried about? I did germinate a #3 Pheno seed + 1x Jack as a backup in case this one doesn't make it, is there anything I can do to help it
