Hello.. Hope you are well.. Yes u can mix coco with soil.. Most quality soils will already av coco premixed in.. If extra air u wanted around ur root system then perlite is ur best option tbh.. If u use coco/soil mix just remember ur feeding will change slightly due to not as much pre energy that ur soil contains.. Stay safe n gud luck with ur garden.. 👍🍀

I have mixed soil and coco 50/50 with great success. You will need to water more frequently though.

I heard that perlite spreads some unhealthy dusty thing and it sticks to buds,I'm staying away from it.only using coco. I would mix them together and set the ph to somewhere between 6.0-6.4 and you'll be safe.

Coco holes less water / more air than soil, so it would have that impact. Perlite or hydroton may be better for what you want? Either way, you'll have to water slightly more depending on the proportion of coco or anything else added with tose properties. Coco can become compacted like soil, so add something like perlite or hydroton to create air gapes and improve drainage which also helps avoid compacting substrate a bit as you water over 3+ months.
