While doing a little LST on my photo, I split the stalk a little. Doesn't seem to have hurt it (yet) but wondering what I should do, if anything?

When to start my flush (lots of close up pics)I'm curious when I should to begin flushing one of my plants. I know I don't have a diary for her, but she's in her 6th week of flowering starting her 7th week on Wednesday (August 5th) and from what I've read Dread Bread takes between 8-9 weeks to finish. When to go from veg to flower? (and defoliate side question)How much longer would you recommend i keep them in Veg state before starting flowering?
They take up 1/4 (almost 1/3) of the grow spaces height.
Furthermore, i plan on defoiliating before flowering(1 week before so they can get over the stress) any tips on when/how much to remove
