White paint/reflective tape on net pots for DWC?

Hey there Hoodoo, nothing you can really do like that except maybe knock a few points off a single degree or so, better would be white pots but it will be much the same story. Good news is chillers work, it's one of those you'll always be using so it's money well spent . Hope this helps ! 🚀

A freezer pack in the buckets will. Best system is rdwc with a chiller keeping your water cool. I just don't like all the work involved with dwc or rdwc. Cool water is essential for healthy roots and slime free buckets and reservoirs. With a chiller you can eliminate all but your ferts. Expensive root enzymes a thing of the past. I went back to growing in straight sunshine mix with a one part veg nute, one part flowering with massive bud formulation. That's all I use...big plants big buds and great taste.

Hi! Yes at least in theory when the light/heat is reflected from the paint or tape surface then it should not heat the bucket and the water. How much, I don't know maybe few degrees
