It depends. If they curl down like a claw it is most likely nitrogen toxicity and upward, too much nutes. There is more reasons but these are the first to come to my mind.

Spots on leaves and little twisted...Spots started slowly showing when it had a different 600w light, too much heat back then, this started a little "save operation" changed light, made the plants look a bit healthier but now it looks like the spots have spread and also affected the leaves above... What is causing my leaves to turn dark and dry?I'm growing 3 Gelato #33 plants in a DWC 5 G bucket setup. Same conditions for all 3 plants, but one of them is experiencing dark spots on the leaves and now they are beginning to shrivel up and dry out. The newer growth looks okay, but might not last long.
