When to train a plant / new growth GG #4 clone

Couple things. Is it time to start thinking about training this plant? Also I have not seen it produce these little bits at the end here - maybe just very early stage of leaf growth i personally have never seen before but looks different. An ingrown leaf? Is that a thing?

Everything looks normal to me. The new leaves may look different to you because they are only growing from one side of the stem, rather than having two leaves growing at once, opposite each other, as happens when you grow a plant from seed. Time is right for some training. Not sure if you can move your lights a bit closer or add some more lights, as your plants seem a bit "lanky". Extra lights will pay big dividends when it comes to flowering. Hope this helps... Organoman.

It will correct itself when it grows out, and it’s not to late to start training if but if you asked me I would of topped it and started trading at the second node
