18/6 leads to high temps in small tent; change light schedule or stick it out?

Girls are at 18/6 and 3-4 hours before lights out the tent gets up to 90 degrees and humidity can’t compete. Should I wait it out or try 16/8 moving towards 12/12 close to flowering (autoflower). Will lowering light exposure affect yield more than high temps would at 18/6

Change your light schedule so that the lights are off during the hottest part of the day is one simple idea. Yes, yields will be lower with less light and be higher with the more light and more heat situation. High temps during flowering will actually increase trichome production.

I've run with my tent open and a fan blowing into tent when very hot.

If I were in your shoes I would first try re-adjusting your 18/6 schedule -- having your lights on at night when it's coolest inside your home & lights out when it's warmer during the daytime. If you have space possibly a portable AC unit or a homemade one?

Circulate more air from outside tent in. Sounds like you do not have a flow of fresh air going In and comming out. The smart controller fans are really nice from spider farmer or Mars. Temp and humidity control. I recommend using the filter to reduce noise of fan when it runs. Do not lower light levels on autos. It will hurt your yield greatly. If anything get the exhaust fan, and run 20/4. They do need some rest though. About 82, 83 degrees is the highest I let mine get.
