Helmet head help!!!!

So I had a seed that sprouted days ago that still had helmet head. I read online to gently squeeze with a pair of tweezers& remove it . I tried and soon found out that it just wasn't done it business. It was a few inches tall though. Will it bounce back or die. Anything I can do?

Dead. You can watch it but it will not develop further. If you left it another day or two it would have shed its own shell. Just keep them moist in future, only if the seed is stuck to the cotyledons should you try and remove it.

Hello there fellow growbie. So if I understand correctly, you tried to remove the shell and then after removing it you noticed that the plant hasn’t developed as far as you would have liked?
Not much you really can do at this stage to be honest. A few things to reduce stress would be advised, so make sure humidity is high for the young seedling and that it doesn’t get any light burn or temp stress or anything like that.
If she is too damaged to recover she will die, if not she should bounce back relatively soon.

Need some advice for these seedlings - suspect it could be early cal-mag deficiency. Thoughts?These seedlings are growing with nicely but I have noticed some slight dis-coloration on the seedlings once the domes came during hardening, medium is moist and light PPFD is hovering around 220-250, avg day temps are 24c and night temps are 22c, using RO water.

Nitrogen Toxicity?Not sure if this is nitrogen toxicity or normal leaf color. Crinkling was caused by too much light and the fan. Got better in 24h after adjusting grow light and fan. Plants are starting week 2 of veg, Hulkberry Auto. Medium is light mix soil.
