Your water is the most important!!!!! Has to be the best. Other wise your wasting your time man. Get a filter and hook it up to a hose. That’s what I do. I make 2 gallons at a time

Na. That wouldn’t . You can use grape juice for the same thing ...when your growing “true organic “ ph is not really a thing to worry about I mean it should be in your mind. But if your using good clean water You should be good. Ppms should read 60-100 before you add anything. If it’s at 0 add a little cal mag to get it there ....NOW your water is perfect!

Yes, thats what ive been doing although probably not on your scale lol, im literally just starting out, so had a go at the super soil, still got a hell of a lot to learn, i suppose i wanted to prove to myself that the synthetic way would yield pretty much the same results, although ive been argued with on this, some people are very ...um.. sensitive around the subject, and thanks ill give that a read. I used lemon juice to bring my ph down do you know if this would affect the flavour?

Going to be honest here. I have grown both. Inorganic and organic....I only grow organic now....that being said. You haven’t smoked until you try living organics....when you do...you’ll know the difference Getting a super soil is a good start. I use coast of Maine stonington blend. But that’s just a base. I mix in more perlite and 5-5-5 and extra worm castings. That should get you started. After a few weeks ( using just water) Depends how big your planter is. The bigger it is. The more food it will hold I then make teas and enzymatic a teas. This is the best way I have found and easy. Read “ true living organics”. It’s a great book. Plus it will explain why you are doing this. Good luck man

Not worrying about synthetic or organic, but i did want to see the difference between growing both ways, yield quality etc, so synthetic base is new, although i know they have similarities. On the nutrients section here i see advanced nutrients, but i have also read how much some hate these lol, i know its quite a controversial subject. But as a purely synthetic grow, without saving money (although i do have a budget) what brand and what would you recommend, seems even just with advanced nutrients alone, it has many many different nutrients, from micro to bud candy to b52 to god knows what, if you were to create a list from seed to harvest, out of the multitude what would the basics be, as most seem to rely on you having some other bottle of magic stuff to go along with lol. And thanks for some of the tips 🙂

does it have cartoon graphics or otherwise look like it is marketed to some teenager? don't buy that one. LoL! Stop worrying about synthetic or organic. those terms have no place in reality. even a college professor will admit that "organic" and "inorganic" chemistry is a silly and arbitrary line drawn in the sand. more about hubris and self-absorbed perspectives of geniuses .. even geniuses do dumb things. even with a soil grow, i'd get a system that provides everything. typically these are labeled as a "hydroponic" fertilizer, but that really doesn't matter if you use it in soil unless it specifically says so, of which i have never heard. if you do this, you don'thave to buy a bunch of supplements. part a, part b and some epsom salt -- more than one company offers such a thing. J.R. Peters is one of them with their jack's 3-2-1 system. You only need the 5-12-26 from jacks, the rest you can buy generic and save even more money. You can find this for ~$60 for a 25lbs bag. there are smaller options to test the stuff out and see if you like it -- JR or other brands etc. Also, buy dry and mix. it'll save money, save storage space, and stores forerver for all intents and purposes. plus, can buy in bulk and pay pennies per gallon of fertilizer. (literally $0.04/gallon in most cases.) 25lbs bags are a commitment. Sinc eoyu use them in a 3:2 ration, it'd be better if you can find cal-nitrate 15-0-0 (or 15.5-0-0, but no secondary/trace nutrients! or you double up and that's bad) with ~16-17lbs, but you likely cannot. you can get an 8lbs epsom bag from walmart for $5. You can find a 25lbs bag of cal nitrate for ~$30-$40. No idea what the smaller packages cost for either part. But, you spend ~$100 for ~4000gallons of ferts, which should last a few years. $2-3/month on ferts is best you can do, from what i can find. plus, these types of products, not just jacks, are real AG products... not pot culture nonsense brands that charge an arm and a leg for a feed that guarantees you have to buy multiple other things to avoid simple and avoidable problems.
