you would need a light for every rack you use. an efficient 42w should easily be able to do 1 sq ft and upto 2 sq ft for that use and most efficient diodes are used. Because of shape and footprint, this may be too much light... depends on too many factors not covered. May want a weaker rack just for clones? seedlings need more. smaller vege plants need even more not to stretch.
LED typically have a 120degree of light. not sure about tled. If similar, that widens out very quickly. tan(30) * 1/2 distance you want coverd = height you need. yes, you will use that stuff from school, if smart :)
fans will give indication where the wind blows... make sure it's blowing out... or sucking out... air going out is the key, here. convenience is best.. may need to save space outside tent, so it goes inside, or connect it outside in opposite orientation and maximize space inside. depends on needs. i can't see how it'd be confusing once you see the arrow for airflow. it has a port for this?
