Do I need to transplant this?

Voltron1
Voltron1started grow question 3 years ago
Plant has been in veg for 2 months. It's 22" tall and it's in a 3 gallon pot. Should I transplant this to a 5 gallon before I flip it? Or will this be fine staying in the 3 gallon pot?

Yes transplant but give it a week to recover before flip. Two months in a 3 gal is quite a while. You could leave it but you will need to water every day. If this is not a issue to you then you can leave it alone.

Hi there, The bigger the pot, the higher the yield.Itā€™s a general rule of thumb. But you need to consider the plantā€™s health before transplanting. You donā€™t want to cause any stress during and after transplanting.I would say 3gallon is totally enough for a plant. But if you want to transplant, recommend to use at least 7~10gallon pot.Itā€™s alot easier while transplanting and you donā€™t need to worry anything about yield or roots.Happy growing... āœŒļø

I would transplant it. If you have room go to a 10 to 15 gal pot. I would give it a week after I transplanted it before the switch gl.

Yeah go ahead with the transplant, your suppose to do it 2 weeks before flowering or before you switch to 12/12.
